On St Davidβs Day, these famous words feel more important than ever. Itβs easy to feel powerless in the face of everything going on in the world right now - the βbig thingsβ often feel far beyond our reach.
The sun was out yesterday, but it has gone in today, leaving us with a quieter, more silver light. But St Davidβs message reminds us that the little things are actually the big things, regardless of the weather. A moment of stillness by the sea, tending to a fire, or a simple act of kindness.
Our daffodils are mostly still in bud today, holding their potential quietly inside. Like them, we donβt always have to be in full bloom to matter. We just have to keep doing the little things, and hold onto the belief that there is still so much good to be found in our communities and in each other.
