In November 131 patients did not attend their appointments that's approximately 22 hours of a Clinicians time. Please cancel any appointments you do not need, either through the app or even using our check and cancel option on our telephone line 🌈

📢The Breast Screening Mobile Unit will shortly be moving to a new site at Chorley - Premier Inn Car Park, Moss Lane Farm, Moss Lane, Chorley, PR6 8AA

📅Eligible ladies will be invited to attend between 05/01/2026 to 31/08/2026 - (By appointment only)

📩Please look out for your invite letter and appointment details arriving soon.

👩 On a 3-yearly rolling programme, ladies between the ages of 49 years and 8 months to 71 years will be invited for breast screening.

The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. Listening to the views of patients and staff helps identify what is working well, what can be improved and how.
The FFT asks people if they would recommend the services they have used and offers a range of responses.

Last year with your help we collected 180 presents for children in Lancashire who otherwise would have woken up on Christmas day to nothing. This year we are going to do the same again. Both our sites will collect your unwrapped donations up until Friday 16th December. Over the coming weeks we’ll post some ideas. Can we beat 180 gifts this year 😮 Thank you for your support 🥰
