Join us as a support worker and discover a genuinely rewarding role with plenty of training, support, a competitive salary, and opportunities to develop your career. You will support people with a learning disability, at home to live life in the way they choose. You do not necessarily need experience as we provide full training.

This is an exciting time to join our well-established, friendly team who support 3 ladies, who live in a well-maintained bungalow together in Broadclyst, Exeter. The team work together to support the ladies to achieve independence and an excellent quality of life.

Full and part-time positions are available.

About the role:
You will work closely with your colleagues and the managers and have a real say in how the support develops. You will support the ladies in all aspects of daily living. This will include supporting with everyday tasks, for example cooking, cleaning, and supporting with full personal care needs, as well as with eating, drinking and with mobility.

If you are new to social care, we will support you gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you have experience as a care assistant, care worker/support worker you will discover we provide plenty of on-going training, and support to achieve relevant qualifications and career progression.

About you:
You will have a passion for learning, fresh ideas and will share our values to help achieve a significant and positive impact on the ladies.
You will need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You can work varied shifts including weekends and evenings / nights. A full driving licence would be beneficial but not essential for the role.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
