Zara always has the perfect words 🙏

Just a reflection from me:
As a child of divorce, I don’t remember every detail — but I remember the words spoken around the dinner table.
Children are always listening.
Always learning who they want to be like... and who they don’t.
A great gift is to show them what calm, respectful adulthood can look like.

Workplace experiences can affect people in ways that aren’t always obvious or easy to talk about - and some work experiences don’t resolve just because time passes.

For some people, a period of sustained pressure, conflict, or a specific incident at work can continue to show up in the body - through tension, disrupted sleep, reduced confidence, or a sense of being constantly on edge.

In 2026 I'm offering a small number of in-person EMDR therapy places in Cwmbran for adults experiencing distress linked primarily to workplace experiences.
This work is being offered as part of a supervised practice-development phase, and places are therefore limited and offered at a reduced rate.

I’m inviting people to complete a short, confidential suitability form, which helps assess whether EMDR for work-related stress is appropriate and safe for you at this stage.
Those who appear to be a good fit will then be offered further information about the process, terms, and next steps.

You can visit the link here to find out more and complete the questionnaire if this sounds like it might be relevant to you: https://forms.office.com/r/mPFW17ziPa

'Tis the season of enforced fun and added overwhelming expectations... I'm here to recommend that you do only the parts that feel positive and throw away broken traditions 🙏

Have a nice day!

I chose to study EMDR therapy (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) because, as a client, it allowed my brain to let go of the things my heart had been carrying for too long and those things were hurting me.

I want more people to be able to experience that freedom ✨

This week’s blog breaks down EMDR in a super accessible way:
💫 how the brain “refiles” old memories
đź’« why EMDR works even if you struggle to talk about things
đź’« who it can help (spoiler: almost everyone)
đź’« what it actually feels like

Why did this only post half a reel earlier?? I guess we'll never know. Here's the whole thing! 🙄

I used to think I made decisions with pure logic. Turns out… my feelings have been quietly steering the wheel the whole time.
And honestly? It’s made me rethink how I solve problems — at work and in life.

Last week’s blog digs into why our brains love quick solutions, how our emotions shape our evidence, and what it really takes to choose well.

How do you make your decisions?

We’re taught to “bring answers, not problems”… but what if that rush to fix is stopping us from understanding what’s really going on?

This week I explored the psychology behind solution-based thinking — including why our brains crave quick fixes, how our emotions quietly steer our “logic”, and what it really takes to find the right solution to the right problem.

If you’re someone who jumps straight into problem-solving (or someone who avoids it altogether), this one might give you a different perspective on how you arrive at decisions and what’s influencing them.

A quiet moment from Ikigai 🌿
Sometimes a soft reminder lands exactly when you need it.

Do you align yourself to positive values and behaviours, or do you just avoid what you perceive as negative values and behaviours?

Let me know if this applies to you too!
