🙈 Today is about "decluttering" my filing cabinets because as someone who is AuDHD I have loads of notebooks filled with info I've learned through training, life experience and my brain that is hyperlexic which means connecting patterns so things get jotted down in different note pads and pieces of paper as they come in
I know as someone who is AuDHD that I thrive on learning new things which can act as a motivation when it is something I'm passionate about to do the things I don't love so much
Some call this 'habit stacking'
The Autism part of me likes routine and safety where as the ADHD part of me like novelty and creativity and when balanced Autism and ADHD work together
When unbalanced, they can work against each other
This is why it is so important to get to know yourself more and more to be able to work WITH your brain and nervous system and why self improvement can play an important part in our lives
Sometimes it's good to stop, pause and reflect to visually see how far you have come
