Our very first week of three days of classes is complete, and we are SO proud of how much Little Roots is growing!

This week, we celebrated our special little people with our “Love in Bloom” theme — filling our days with kindness, creativity, and so much joy. 💕🌷

📸🐰 We’ve made a change to our Easter sessions!

The fabulous LAF Designs has been selected as a finalist for ‘The Big Best of Welsh Business Awards’! We are so proud of you Lyndsey and know no one deserves it more with your amazing talent for capturing the perfect shot 📸

The awards are taking place on Sunday 29th March, which is the same day as our Easter Special class. Therefore, Lyndsey will be unable to stay for our 2pm ‘Movers’ session.

Good News! You can still have your photos taken by as we have made some changes to our schedule! 💞🐰

⭐ NEW CLASS ⭐️
🌱 10am - Mixed/Sibling Session (suitable from birth to 3 years old)
This class will be perfect for friendship groups with babies of different abilities 🤩

ℹ️ If you have already booked but wish to switch classes, please message us and we will be able to change your booking ✨

ℹ️If you are booked in the 2pm ‘movers’ session and would like Easter photos with Lyndsey, please message with your Little Roots booking confirmation and she will extend the offer for a slot at her studio. 🤍📸

🌿 We’re currently enjoying a little break from classes, soaking up some quality time with our own little ones… and maybe a hot cup of tea for once! ☕😉

February has absolutely flown by, so we couldn’t resist a little throwback to some of the gorgeous moments we’ve already shared this month. From disco dancing to cuddles and calm, it’s been such a special few weeks 💛

✨ Last week marked the end of our 5-week Baby Massage Course — and what a special journey it’s been! ✨

Watching our wonderful mums confidently complete a full body massage routine was just amazing. The growth in confidence over the weeks has been so lovely to see… and of course, we can’t believe how much the babies have grown too! 💛

There’s something so special about this course — a space filled with relaxation, connection and all the good vibes. We truly love what we do.

Our next course begins 27th February, and there’s still time to join us!

It’s half term week! For most of our classes we’re taking a little break and will return for our beautiful ‘Love in Bloom’ week commencing 23rd February 🌸🤍

However…

Due to the snow cancellations in January, we have our rearranged classes tomorrow — and we’re bringing lots of Disco fun! 🪩🎶

We’ve opened up a few PAYG spaces in:

🌱 Seedling 2 – Suitable for babies who are sitting independently up to crawling confidently.
🌱 Seedling 3 – Suitable for confident crawlers up to 3 years old.

Why We Limit ‘Pay as you Go’ Bookings 🎟️🌱 - SEEDLING CLASSES 🌱

You’ll hear us say, “stage not age” when discussing babies milestones. These moments take precious time and the same applies for babies and parents to settle in 👶🏼👩🏽

🌱 Little Roots isn’t a drop in style class, because it’s not a one off activity. Lesson plans are meticulous with progressive activities factored into them. Not to mention the research that goes into creating a ‘cover all areas’ class which isn’t solely designed for your baby but to also provide you with the knowledge and confidence so they can thrive and explore their milestones at home.

By exploring these activities, you are building the neurological pathways needed for later development. How amazing and crazy is that!? 🤪

Babies learn best through repetition and familiarisation. Coming to the same class each week helps them recognise their environment, feel secure, and gradually engagement more with movement and sensory experiences. The sense of routine is truly where the good stuff happens 🤩

A single session can be effected by so many things such as a missed nap, growth spurt, feeding needs, or a baby quietly taking in their surroundings. One class alone doesn’t always show the full benefit of our programme. 🌱

Not to mention, the amazing group of women and occasional men you’ll get to connect with but these connections take time for you to feel fully relaxed, settled in and not felt rushed 🌸

🌱 Seedling 3 Classes - PAYG options here to stay, why?

1. Family arrangements change, often scenarios when babies get to their crawling/walking stage, maternity leave is coming to a close or childcare arrangements change. We understand flexibility is key.

2. Our lesson plan and play environment changes to support your little one’s stage. Open ended activities and resources take centre stage promoting creativity and decision making creating a space for them to thrive.
