I’m a Little Roots Baby! 🌱✨

Beth and Isabella started their Little Roots journey when Isabella was just 3 weeks old. In the early days, the whole class was eager to see if we had caught Isabella in her wake window to join in with all the fun. As you can appreciate, those moments were few and far between 🥹

Beth still joined in with the activities, took advantage of our gorgeous photo set ups and was surrounded by the best group of mums we could have asked for. When Isabella did decide to wake up, we took full advantage 🥰

Every week, we got to see more and more of Isabella and seeing her progression just filled our hearts 🌸

Now at 14 weeks, sleeping in class is a thing of the past, however the occasional nap is entirely appropriate 😘

If you find yourself in any type of baby class and your little one is off to the land of nod. PLEASE REMEMBER, you’re not the first and you most definitely will not be the last to experience this. We encourage you to relax, take in your surroundings and remember showing up is an achievement and you will equally benefit from the experience as much as your baby will 🌱

What a week we’ve had! 🤍

We’ve loved having some normality back, welcoming our wonderful families, and meeting some new faces too.

This week we explored our senses, knocked off icicles ❄️, and mastered our baby sign for Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star ⭐️

We ended the week by starting our next term of baby massage – full of chill vibes, gentle touch, and calm moments. 🌱

We can’t wait to do it all again from tomorrow! 🥰

🌟 and to think 2025 brought all of these beautiful babies into the world and we get the privilege of watching them grow 🌱💖

We want to say a genuine thank you for your patience, and again how sorry we are to our Baby Massage January cohort and our Monday Seedling 2 & 3 families for the postponement of today’s classes 🤍

Hindsight is always a wonderful thing, but this morning we had to make an early call following risk assessment adjustments needed around the car park and walkways, and ensuring we had the time and conditions to set up safely and properly.

With the added risk of ice, the thought of even one parent or baby slipping on the way to one of our sessions just wasn’t something we could feel comfortable taking a chance on. Your safety will always come first — even when it means making a difficult decision.

📅 Updates:
• Baby Massage January course will now begin Friday 16th January
• Seedling 2 & 3 (Monday families) will be rearranged for 16th February, and we’ll be making it extra special with a Disco Glow themed session ✨

We’re ready to really get things moving next week as we launch our ICE ICE Baby theme ❄️🧊

Mondays looked a little different for us this week ✨

Not quite the start to the year we had planned, with classes needing to be rescheduled, but we’re making the most of it. Don’t worry, this week’s sessions will be well worth the wait, as we’ll be celebrating with our very own Little Roots New Year Party 🪩🌟

Today was all about behind-the-scenes planning: mapping out the next six months of lesson plans, finalising upcoming events (did you spot our Valentine’s special released yesterday? 💕), and brainstorming ways to make our sessions even better for you and your little ones.

We also popped into the hall to sort through equipment, pack away our Christmas resources, and give everything a thorough deep clean 🧽
