I've also diagnosed, treated and rehabilitated athletes during the 2012 Olympic and 2014 and 2022 Commonwealth games, Professional footballers at Plymouth Argyle 2000-2005 and Torquay United 2005-2006 and taught Sports massage and sports injuries and rehabilitation at college level 2006-8.
Consequently I've built up a huge daily passion, enthusiasm and love working as a Chartered Physiotherapist/Sports therapist. I've been fortunate to have learnt, trained, gained experience and worked with many well-known and talented healthcare professionals since 1996 from Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists to Physical Training instructors and Sports medicine Doctors locally, nationally and from around the world and provide this experience, expertise, advice and long term evidence based treatments to all my patients. .
So what happens here at Dartmouth Physiotherapy and Sports In jury Clinic? Firstly, during the initial Physio appointment, you'll have a free detailed, individual objective, subjective and functional/mechanical assessment to not only locate and identify the symptoms of your pain but also to locate the source and cause of the pain which can often be somewhere else in your body. If treatment is then required i can provide the long term evidence based treatments as follows:

Also, providing an accurate individual rehabilitation program and after care advice is also a major part of your care and recovery so i provide individual taylor-maid rehabilitation programmes, face-to-face or video format, that can be constantly monitored and adjusted and can be used in the home or Gym environment and via your mobile phone, when required, to help improve joint/muscle strength, balance, mobility flexibility, stability and return you to a better physical capacity where ever you are.
