Good morning, what a beautiful day today after yesterday’s rain!

Over the last few weeks I’ve taken a number of enquires about the entry requirements Level 3 diploma in Lymphatic drainage, Post surgical, lipoedema and lymphoedema.
For this course, you must be qualified to level 3 in massage therapy or equivalent. One day courses in massage will not be enough. This is down to my insurance requirements and to ensure the quality of the course.

So, with this in mind, and based on some of the conversations I have had recently with people who want to get into bodywork, from March 2026, Lymphaeum Education will be running a new Level 3 Body Massage Diploma. This diploma with give you everything you need to start a career as a massage therapist. Once this course is achieved, you will be able to do the Lymphatic drainage diploma.

If you complete your Level 3 Body Massage Diploma with Lymphaeum Education, you will receive a discount on the diploma in Lymphatic drainage if you complete that within 12 months.

I will be posting more details over the next month or so, but this is a really exciting new update.

A little update to show you our new home. Lymphaeum Education is the training arm of JC Holistics based in Darwen, Lancashire. On the first floor we have our clinic rooms and on the ground floor is our lovely airy training room. Our courses are kept quite small, with a maximum of 8 trainees, keeping the support from your tutor personal

National Curves Day!

National Curves Day is a day to celebrate body positivity and to appreciate the uniqueness of our bodies 💜 Of course, there may be parts of your body you wish were different, but try to focus on areas you love!

This course is fully insurable to work with post surgical, lymphoedema and lipoedema clients. It is a blended learning course with online modules and 3 days in person training in Darwen, Lancashire. That is followed by 6-8 weeks of online zooms whilst you complete case studies.

This has been a passion of mine, a lipoedema warrior myself. I’ve worked with post surgical clients for nearly 9 years and I’ve poured all my knowledge and understanding into the course so that therapist feel confident in treating these pathologies and conditions.

The first course is due to run on 9th Feb 2026 but you will be able to start the online section from December 2025.

My new course accredited through Think Tree Hub is a Level 3 certificate is Lymphatic Drainage for Post Operative, Lymphoedema and Lipoedema. It’s for Massage therapists qualified to Level 3 and above and the first course starts on Monday 27th October 2025, in Darwen, Lancashire.
