A first-time mum and a whole new identity,
But Dee refused to lose herself.
She joined us while on maternity leave and she wanted to look after herself whilst navigating life with a newborn.
Before baby Aaron,
she trained hard,
followed low-calorie diets
and pushed constantly.
But she knew that approach wasnโt going to work anymore,
So we built a plan around her new life,
Less pressure
More structure
and something she could actually stick to.
Then her life changed again, she went back to working full time in a demanding job.
She was juggling being a mum, work and everything else and this is where most women feel like it all falls apart.
Tthey give up and put themselves at the bottom of the priority list.
But we didnโt start again, we built her plan around this next phase of her life because thatโs what actually works.
Something that fits around being a busy, full-time working mum without her losing herself in the process.
We simplified everything again,
3 x workouts per week that suited her shift pattern,
Fueling her body properly to allow her the energy to get through the days
And most importantly being kind to herself when the weeks donโt go to plan.
With a plan that fits her life,
Dee has dropped over 10kg
has ran a half marathon,
Sheโs stronger, more confident and more comfortable in her own skin
And her pre-pregnancy clothes are too big.
But more than thatโฆ
She didnโt give up when life changed
She didnโt go back to square one,
She adjusted and kept going.
Because this time her approach fits her life and thatโs why itโs working.
