For years, I was the definition of โ€œdoing everything rightโ€.

I was a full time group exercise instructor.

I trained a lot.
I ate clean.
I burned as many calories as possible.

From the outside, it looked like I had it all figured out.
Fit.
Healthy.
Disciplined.

But behind the scenes, I was exhausted.

Because when eating clean and training hard didnโ€™t line up perfectly, everything fell apart.

Iโ€™d try to tighten the rules.
Train more.
Be better.

And when I couldnโ€™t sustain it, I blamed myself for not sticking to it.

I never changed the approach.I just kept restarting it.

The shift came when I stopped trying to outwork my body and finally changed how I approached food and training.

Instead of just trying to stick to it better.

You probably started 2026 genuinely believing this would be your year.

Not in an extreme way.
Just quieter promises.
Better choices.
Being โ€˜goodโ€™ most of the time.
