A first-time mum and a whole new identity,

But Dee refused to lose herself.

She joined us while on maternity leave and she wanted to look after herself whilst navigating life with a newborn.

Before baby Aaron,
she trained hard,
followed low-calorie diets
and pushed constantly.

But she knew that approach wasnโ€™t going to work anymore,

So we built a plan around her new life,

Less pressure
More structure
and something she could actually stick to.

Then her life changed again, she went back to working full time in a demanding job.

She was juggling being a mum, work and everything else and this is where most women feel like it all falls apart.

Tthey give up and put themselves at the bottom of the priority list.

But we didnโ€™t start again, we built her plan around this next phase of her life because thatโ€™s what actually works.

Something that fits around being a busy, full-time working mum without her losing herself in the process.

We simplified everything again,

3 x workouts per week that suited her shift pattern,
Fueling her body properly to allow her the energy to get through the days
And most importantly being kind to herself when the weeks donโ€™t go to plan.

With a plan that fits her life,

Dee has dropped over 10kg
has ran a half marathon,
Sheโ€™s stronger, more confident and more comfortable in her own skin
And her pre-pregnancy clothes are too big.

But more than thatโ€ฆ
She didnโ€™t give up when life changed
She didnโ€™t go back to square one,
She adjusted and kept going.

Most of the women we work with come to us stuck in this cycle,

Starting strongโ€จFalling offโ€จTelling themselves theyโ€™ll try again next week
And thinking theyโ€™re the problem.

But theyโ€™re not.
Theyโ€™ve just been trying to follow plans that donโ€™t fit their life.

The plans are either too restrictive, too all or nothing or only works when everything goes perfectly,

And thatโ€™s not real life.

You keep thinking itโ€™s youโ€ฆ

That youโ€™re the one who just canโ€™t stick to anything because every week looks the same,

You start with good intentions, fall off and tell yourself youโ€™ll restart next week,

And the cycle just repeats.

So naturally you thinkโ€ฆ

I need more discipline
I need to try harder
I need to be more โ€œon itโ€

But if that was true it would have worked by now.

Youโ€™ve had weeks where you were motivated,
Where you were organised,
Where youโ€™re really tried and it still ended the same way.

Missing workouts,
Eating everything in the house and telling yourself youโ€™ll start again Monday.

So maybe itโ€™s not that you canโ€™t stick to it, maybe itโ€™s the way youโ€™re trying to do it,

Because right now, youโ€™re trying to follow a plan that only works when your week goes exactly perfect

You wake up thinking, right this is it. Iโ€™m actually going to stick to it this week.

Youโ€™ve got food ready, youโ€™re trying to be good and youโ€™re in that โ€œon itโ€ mindset.

Then the day startsโ€ฆ
Work kicks off straight away, you barely get a minute to yourself, so you grab whateverโ€™s quickest to eat.

And you tell yourself, itโ€™s fine. Youโ€™ll sort it later.

Later comes, you get home from work, youโ€™re tired, stressed, had an overwhelming day and you canโ€™t even be bothered to train.

So you skip it and tell yourself, youโ€™ll go tomorrow.

Then something else comes up, suddenly itโ€™s Thursday and youโ€™re thinking Iโ€™ve blown this week anyway.

So you just go with it, pick at things, eat whateverโ€™s there and find yourself on the couch, spending 2-3 hours doom scrolling, wondering how all these other women do it.

The weekend comes. You have plans, meals out or a last-minute social thing and you find yourself saying, โ€œNext week will be different.โ€

Then the Sunday night dread hits and youโ€™re sat there thinking, โ€œWhy canโ€™t I just stick to anything?โ€

And then the cycle starts again.

You donโ€™t need another โ€œfresh startโ€ on Monday, you just need consistency, not perfection.

Because the women who get results arenโ€™t starting over every week theyโ€™ve just stopped quitting when things arenโ€™t perfect ๐Ÿ’œ

One of the problems we see women face when they join our coaching programme is believing that their meal out or weekend takeaway is the reason they are not losing weight.

The women we work with want to enjoy meals out or takeaways with their families guilt free, whilst still making progress, feeling good in their clothes and not feeling like they have blown their week.

Itโ€™s not the meal out or the takeaway that is the problem.

Itโ€™s the belief and the approach they are taking that is holding them back.

So instead of avoiding it or starting again every Monday, we show them how to handle it properly.

I know so many women can relate to how I am feeling right now.

I noticed something about myself recently, but it only really hit when I said it out loud on a call today.

I feel like I have just become Coach Siobhan.

And donโ€™t get me wrong, I love what I do.

I am obsessed with helping the women I work with.

But right now, it feels like that is all I have been.

Outside of that, I have not really been living.

I have not been doing the things I enjoy, not been as social, just kind of stuck in a routine getting through everything.

Running a business is fu***ng hard, but it should not be my whole life and recently it has been all I think about. I couldnโ€™t switch off.

I have found myself staying away from social media unless it is for work, because life feels a bit like a hamster wheel right now and I keep thinking โ€œwhat have I even got to share?โ€

But the truth is, I have not been doing anything because I have not been letting myself.

I am such a sociable person, but recently I have just gone into myself and stopped doing the things I actually enjoy.

And to add to it we have got ALOT going on right now.

Amie is stepping into a whole new structure and is going to be working her arse off over the next 18 weeks, itโ€™s a big change.

Life is full on. We juggle so much. But should it really mean we lose ourselves in the process?

Because I know for a fact this is exactly where so many of the women we work with are at as well.

This is just me being honest about where I am at right now.

One of the biggest problems we see when it comes to fat loss ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿป

And if you are anything like the women we work with, youโ€™ll know this cycle well.

One unplanned meal turns into a full on binge
โ€จMiss one workout and suddenly the whole week is a write off
โ€จAnd you find yourself saying โ€œI will get back to my diet on Mondayโ€

Itโ€™s that exact cycle that is keeping you stuck.
โ€จGoing round in circles, starting over every week and never seeing progress
โ€จAnd itโ€™s frustrating because you feel like youโ€™re trying but nothing is actually changing.

That was us for years as well.

Labelling food as โ€œgoodโ€ or โ€œbadโ€โ€จ
Letting one last minute meal out lead to a blowoutโ€จ
Feeling guilty and frustrated because we couldnโ€™t stick to it and werenโ€™t seeing any results

The turning point for us was realising it wasnโ€™t a lack of willpower, it was the approach.

Hereโ€™s how we overcame it.

We set realistic goals that actually fit our lifestyle, not ones that demanded perfectionโ€จ
We followed a structured training plan that made us feel strong, not burned outโ€จ
We started eating enough food to fuel our bodies instead of constantly running on emptyโ€จ
And most importantly, we stopped punishing ourselves for being human.

Life happens
Youโ€™ll eat outโ€จYouโ€™ll miss a workoutโ€จ
And there will always be birthdays, holidays and unexpected meals out.

That doesnโ€™t mean youโ€™ve failed.

Girls, why do you help the women you work with?

Because weโ€™ve literally been where they are.

Weโ€™ve tried every diet, chased extremes and been stuck in the all or nothing cycle.

And we know exactly how it feels.

Weโ€™ve been the tiniest versions of ourselves, only to binge and see it all go back on.

We were taught that results came from extreme dieting, over restriction and perfection.

Women who always put everyone else first make fat loss much harder than it needs to be

And this is exactly where Julie was in January last year.

A busy business owner, dance teacher, mum and wife, itโ€™s no surprise Julie felt like there was no time left for her.

Each week felt the same, trying to make progress but feeling like there wasnโ€™t enough time to prioritise her goals.

Which only ended in the same 6lbs being lost and then put straight back on again.

In Julieโ€™s own words she told us she was โ€œcaught in the yo-yo dieting cycle, stuck in that all or nothing mindset and completely sick of it.โ€
