Provide High Quality Worksmanship - From specialist brickwork to feature stonework to imported blockwork systems, our on-site performance is guaranteed through the employment of skilled, trade qualified and closely appraised workforce with hundreds of years experience reinforced by our dedication to continual training. Ensure Client Financial Satisfaction - Our pro-active approach pre-contract allows both parties to realise financial implications/savings aiding the commercial teams forecasts throughout the duration of the works and laying footings for a trouble free final account. We take great pride in all aspects of delivering our projects inline with the three objectives and this ethos is instilled in all employees and supply chain members who make up the Phoenix Brickwork (UK) Ltd team.

Today, we pause to remember.

On Remembrance Day, we honour all those who have served and sacrificed for our country — past and present. Their courage, dedication and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We also think of the families and communities whose lives have been shaped by this service.

At 11am, we will join the nation in a moment of silence to reflect and pay our respects.

Members of the BMH team recently took part in specialist rescue training at our Northampton depot, delivered by Elite Safety Training and Rescue.

The sessions were extremely insightful, with great engagement and enthusiasm from everyone who attended. We’ve already had some excellent feedback from the team — a clear reflection of how valuable the training was.

Rescue training plays a vital role in the scaffolding industry, giving our teams the knowledge and confidence to respond safely and effectively in emergency situations.

We’re committed to investing in our people, and this is just the start — we’ll continue to roll out this training across our workforce to further strengthen competence, preparedness, and site safety.

What a night! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate 15 years of Phoenix — a milestone built on hard work, loyalty, and the incredible people who have been part of our journey.

From humble beginnings to becoming a multi-discipline construction group, the last 15 years have been nothing short of remarkable. The energy, teamwork and community spirit shown at our celebration perfectly reflects who we are.

Here’s a look back at our anniversary event — a fantastic evening shared with colleagues, family, friends and partners who have supported us along the way.

We’re pleased to welcome Mason Goldthorpe to as our newest Bricklaying Apprentice!

Mason has officially joined the site team at Sweet Street in Leeds, where he’ll be gaining hands-on experience on one of our major projects while continuing his apprenticeship training.

We look forward to supporting Mason as he develops his skills and begins his journey in the construction industry.

Brickwork - Mark Higham
A huge congratulations to Mark Higham, who has received this month's Phoenix Award for his fantastic work at sweet street in Leeds. Mark has taken managing our biggest project to date completely in his stride. His organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to learning have been second to none. Always progressing, always improving - Mark consistently demonstrates a proactive and professional approach that keeps the project moving forward every day. Well done Mark - a well deserved recognition.

SFS - Eliot Brooks
Congratulations to Eliot Brooks, who has been recognised for Septembers award for his sterling work up in Darlington. Eliot has done an incredible job managing the site solo, keeping everything running smoothly and on track throughout. Resulting in excellent progress and quality results. Well Done Eliot!

Scaffolding - Callum Thomas
Congratulations to Callum Thomas who has won the Phoenix Award for Scaffolding! Callum has shown continued hard work and commitment on site, setting a great example for others. His efforts in maintaining high safety and quality standards have not gone unnoticed. Alongside his colleague Tom, Callum has also recently won the Barratt's Safety Award - a fantastic achievement. Well Done Callum!

Office - Jim Convery
This months office award goes to 'Uncle Jim'! An absolute grafter through and through, Jim is always willing to lend a hand with anything that needs doing and plays a key part in keeping everything running smoothly. Whether it's sorting something at the office or heading out to site to deal with an emergency. Jim can always be relied upon to get the job done without hesitation. Thank you Jim, for your hard work, dedication and commitment.

We’re proud to have supported the Military Veterans Fly Fishing UK Championships for the second year running by sponsoring and purchasing the event trophies.

This incredible event, held at Clewydog Reservoir in Wales, is organised by the Military Fly Fishing Club and promotes the wellbeing of veterans through the sport of fly fishing.

Our Brickwork Construction Director Jason Brockett shared:

“It was an absolute pleasure to be able to support the Military Veterans Fly Fishing event again this year – the very least we could do to thank those extremely brave individuals who served our country.”

The event organisers also expressed their gratitude, saying:

“Your continued support of this event and the Military Veterans Fly Fishing Club is sincerely appreciated and contributes greatly to the success of the championships and enjoyment of all participants.”

A huge shoutout to Site Manager, Matt Williams, who recently took part in the BBC’s DIY SOS in Leicester.

The episode, “Independence for Isla”, will air on Friday 3rd October at 8PM on BBC One and follows the team as they transform a home for seven-year-old Isla, who lives with a rare genetic condition.

Matt Shared...
"I can always remember watching DIY SOS as a kid, as I got older and I learned a trade I can remember wanting to be a part of a build, but it was never the right time, or too far away, or money was tight. But as the years past and things got a little bit more "comfortable" I felt fortunate enough to be able to give my time up and use the skills I've acquired to help.

It has been by far one of the best things I have done in the construction industry, and I recommend to go do it! You meet some of the best people and not everyone is from a trade!

I'd do it again with no second thoughts!"

At Phoenix, we’re proud to support this important campaign which raises awareness, encourages early detection, and highlights the vital research and support services that make a real difference to so many lives.

Breast cancer affects thousands of people and their families every year, but by talking openly, supporting one another, and reminding our loved ones about the importance of self-checks and screenings, we can all play a part in making a difference.
