📢 Important Patient Update

Due to a temporary shortage of doctors and no available locum cover, on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th February the practice will be operating an urgent service only.

During these two days, we kindly ask patients to contact us only for urgent matters only. Routine appointments can be made again from Monday 16 February.

Our team will be working hard to ensure patients who need care most are supported. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation.

Our Primary Care Multi-disciplinary Teams and supported by the Derry Federation of General Practices is encouraging local women to attend a Menopause event on Thursday 16 October 2025 in the Ebrington Hotel.

Shona McEleney, GP Social Work Assistant, Glendermott Medical Practice, Waterside Health Centre said: “This is a great opportunity for local women to access menopause advice, support and resources to help them through the complex transition of menopause. We will have guest speakers on the night, information stalls and it will be ticket only event."
