If you're looking to reduce stress, build confidence, or gain clarity, I’m here to guide you on your journey. Human behaviour and wellness has always been an interest and passion of mine. I have dedicated my learning and career development to building a vast amount of knowledge, skill and practice to support individuals to meet their own wellbeing needs and thrive in their lives. I believe in supporting young people, children, parents and adults to thrive, by accessing their values and using psychological skills to bring more vitality into theird life. I have lived experience of mental health, single parenting, anxiety, depression, burn out, healing, learning and growing. I believe in normalising being human and teaching people to be their own best friend, teaching self compassion, emotional resilience, making regulated choices and accepting it's ok to fall over. I love stepping into my Discoverer (you will learn about this with me), walking, camping, being in or on water, being creative - within the world, I am not a skilled artist. I love parenting and sharing practice, I love networking and learning from others and I am extremely passionate about bringing joy to others and teaching the younger generations to look after themselves.

World Mental Health Day!

Even the smallest moments in your day can have an impact on your wellbeing and mental health.

We chose 15 mins of yoga and reading Teen Breathe whilst eating Breakfast this morning. Also a kind little pep chat with myself as I've noticed a lot of unhelpful thoughts recently.

Sooo grateful it's Friday today, looking forward to girlie time, family time, boats, pumpkins and being together in our lovely home and time ❤️💛

Hello everyone! 🙌

I've had the summer away from social media, I've caught myself scrolling on the off occasion but significantly less. I haven't updated my stories or pictures all the time and I haven't been watching what everyone else has been doing. This has been good for me.

The part of business building I find the hardest is the need and time it takes to make content that only gets some reach.

So, if you're seeing this, know that I am here, still offering coaching sessions, in the autumn months they will be moving more into evenings, weekends and online. They can be one off exploration sessions, goal settings sessions or a reflective space.

The longest day.
A moment to pause, breathe, and simply be with whatever is here.

Whether you’re feeling full of light or sitting quietly in the shade, know this:

It's Carer's week this week. If you are or know anyone who is a carer, check out the lovely activities and opportunities in the local areas 👫

We are so pleased to be able to bring you a full programme of face-to-face and online daytime, evening, weekday and weekend events, for unpaid carers for !

From free entry and activities at Devon's National Trust properties*, an invitation to attend our Carers Conference, opportunities to visit us at our information stands throughout Devon at libraries, hospitals and on The Sofa, to enjoying a Carers Cream Tea & Jazz afternoon, and the chance to try taster Peer Support groups with other unpaid carers, or to join our online journaling sessions, we hope there is something you will be able to enjoy!

You’re not alone—real change doesn’t come from forcing yourself to be “better.” It comes from creating habits that actually mean something to you 💛

Here’s how I help my clients make habits that last 👇

1️⃣ We start with your values
What really matters to you? Feeling more present with your family? Having more energy? Feeling calmer in your day?
When your goals connect to what’s important, they feel more natural—and less like a chore.

2️⃣ We make the goals SMART:
✨ Specific – What exactly are you doing?
✨ Measurable – Can we track it together?
✨ Achievable – Is it something you can realistically do?
✨ Relevant – Does it fit your lifestyle + values?
✨ Time-bound – When and how often?

💡 Example: Instead of “I want to get fitter”

✨ Human *being*, not human *doing* ✨

I’m busy , really busy.
Working in the NHS, building a business, raising a family, buying a house, trying to live a healthy, values-based life, connecting.

I’m full of love and gratitude for the connections I have, the opportunities I’ve been given, and I genuinely love listening to, sharing, and being part of other people’s journeys.

Sounds dreamy, doesn’t it?

Well… guess what? I also need to look after myself too.
And the truth is, I often experience:
💭 Worry
😵‍💫 Unhelpful thoughts
😩 Exhaustion
🤯 That feeling of being totally overwhelmed

But here’s what I strive for:
To be a human being, not a human doing.
And that means listening to my body when it’s telling me to stop.

Sometimes the signals are obvious:
🌀 I get scatty
🥱 I avoid stuff
🍫 I reach for sugar and skip the nutritious stuff
🥔 Cooking dinner? Forget it. Thank goodness for jacket potatoes.

And sometimes it’s more subtle — like a jittery, anxious energy (as if I’ve had 7 coffees by 9am), or a brain fog so heavy I can’t string a sentence together.

But I’ve learned something that might help you too:
The power to notice.
To see the signs — physical or emotional — and to respond with compassion, not criticism.

✨ Today, that looked like:
➡️ Going to the gym (even though I felt uncomfortable)
➡️ A yoga class (usually skip out of there feeling grounded) — but today, I didn’t.
➡️ Sitting in child's pose, feeling emotion, and realising I needed comfort
➡️ Reaching out to a friend — because connection heals
➡️ Curling up on the sofa with a weighted blanket
➡️ A gorgeous magazine (learning about rosemary — so obviously I now want to smother myself in it)
➡️ Sleepy tea. At 5pm. Because yes, that’s allowed.

I feel calmer. Still tired. And that’s okay too.

💗 I’m grateful to have the skills to notice, accept, and nurture.
