Caver..what?

I learnt about my brain Cavernomas on the 6th December 2013 and August 2016 as one of my Cavernomas haemorrhaged. It caused a stroke as well as many other neurological symptoms such as my most dominating ones being, Seizures and Pain, that are fair/poorly controlled or permanent. Even though I have a health care team my only support really, is medication, its can be very frustrating as I feel misunderstood.

Unfortunately I'm not alone as there are many others who have these brain/spine growths, but not enough to make a difference to be recognised as a condition. Research has shown that there are 1-600 people who have a Cavernoma without any symptoms or they could not know that the Cavernoma is there at all. It’s the 1-400,000 people with Cavernoma that can display a whole range of neurological symptoms from weak to severe.
