Proud to be delivering the VIOLET HCID Training Course in collaboration with HCID & HSE colleges from across the UK 🇬🇧

This simulation-based training is designed to support healthcare professionals in the safe assessment and management of patients with suspected High-Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID).

Today we were delighted to host our Breaking Significant News course, delivered by the fantastic Faye and Sarah, with the support of Charlotte from our Simulation Faculty.

This simulation-based course is designed to support healthcare professionals in developing the confidence and communication skills needed when delivering difficult or life-changing news to patients and their families. Through realistic scenarios, practical strategies, and guided reflection, participants gain valuable experience in managing challenging conversations with compassion and professionalism.

Introducing GIMME (General Internal Medicine Medical Emergencies) – a high-fidelity simulation course designed specifically for GIM ST4–ST7 trainees.
In response to the new 12-hour simulation requirement for Stage 2 GIM training, GIMME delivers immersive, hands-on scenarios that go beyond clinical knowledge — focusing on what really matters on call:

🩺 Managing the acutely unwell patient (A–E approach)
📞 Giving cross-specialty advice
