The children in our SEND home ed cooking class have been busy in the kitchen this week 🧑‍🍳🤍

We made:🍦 Homemade ice cream with cookie dough🌮 Quesadillas with completely homemade tortillas

So much more than just cooking…

✨ Measuring & maths skills✨ Reading & following instructions✨ Turn-taking & teamwork✨ Sensory exploration (textures, temperatures, smells!)✨ Confidence building & independence

There is something so special about watching them realise “I made this!”

Life skills. Learning. Laughter. And lots of taste testing along the way ♥️

We have a very unusually quiet weekend and, as I’m still not feeling 100% (nothing contagious, don’t worry!), we’ve made the decision to close this Saturday.
We’ll be back open as normal on Sunday 🤍
