🕯 Christmas is a time when loved ones come together and celebrate, but it is also a time when we miss those we’ve loved and lost. Their absence is strongly felt. Our memorial tree is now up in honour of those we have cared for. Please feel free to come in and leave a message and place it on the tree. 🕯

May warm memories of your loved one surround you now and always”


In memory of your loved one, we would like to invite you and your family to our Christmas remembrance service at Armthorpe community centre on Sunday the 7th of December 2025. You are all are invited to the special service to remember the ones we have lost.
A star will be given to all who would like to write a message for loved ones and place on our remembrance tree. Candles will also be available to light in memory of loved ones. The tree will be placed in Dey’s Armthorpe branch until January 5th for all who can’t make the service.

Tea, coffee & mince pies will be provided.

This year we will be taking donations for Firefly and would be grateful if you
can help us support this charity.

The service is to start at 6pm and we kindly ask you to arrive by 5.45pm

Remembrance Day is fast approaching and we will be reflecting and honouring the sacrifice of those who served and supporting our veterans.

Sadly this is so heartbreakingly true 💔 💔Just lately we are having more and more drivers on the roads being impatient and trying to push in on the Funeral Cortège’s in between the Hearse and the Limousines with bereaved family members in, and even on funerals with our horses too.

This is happening to the point where accidents have nearly been caused because someone just wants to cut in or to cut through.

I appreciate we drive slower, but this is someone’s final journey, and this is done out of respect.

Whether this makes you 30 seconds, one minute or two minutes late for where you need to be, think about that person who has passed and the families that are following.

A final journey is so precious 🎩🤍
