3️⃣ Know the Numbers – At 50, talk to your doctor about prostate cancer (earlier if you’re at higher risk).
4️⃣ Know Thy Nuts – Check yourself regularly. If something doesn’t feel right, see your doctor.

It’s quick, simple, and you can do it at home.

✅ If you’re between 50 and 74 years old, you’ll get a screening kit every two years.
✅ It checks for tiny amounts of blood in your poo — often before any symptoms appear.
✅ Taking the test could save your life.

📬 When your kit arrives, do the test and post it back as soon as possible.

🚨 Do you know the symptoms of bowel cancer? 🚨

Spotting the signs early could save your life.
Look out for:
💧 Bleeding from your bottom
🚽 Blood in your poo
🔁 A change in how often you poo, or ongoing diarrhoea or constipation
⚖️ Losing weight without trying
😴 Feeling tired all the time
🤕 A pain or lump in your tummy

If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t ignore them — talk to your GP and ask about an at-home test.

PFG Christmas dinner, don’t be alone this year

Are you spending Christmas alone this year? People’s Focused Group are hosting a Christmas dinner for people to come together and celebrate. The celebration will be held at the Food and Drink Café, Tickhill Road Site, Balby, DN48QP from 10am until 3pm on Christmas day.

There will be a full Christmas dinner and pudding, plus everyone gets a present. There will also be singing and games to finish the day off.
