Cubii was one of the very first companies we partnered with, and they kindly sent us one of their fantastic seated elliptical trainers. Since then, itโ€™s become a staple in our toolkit โ€” and a favourite among our clients! Many enjoy using it so much, they choose to buy their own to continue their rehab independently between sessions.

Hereโ€™s why we love it:
โœ… Low-impact and simple to use
โœ… Ideal for various neurological conditions or limited mobility
โœ… Helps improve circulation, coordination, muscle strength and endurance

๐Ÿ’ฌ Not sure if itโ€™s right for you?
You're very welcome to try one with us first โ€” it's a great opportunity to see how it could support your goals and fit into your routine.

This is your cue to have a drink! It's super easy to forget to hydrate when it's hot, but for anyone with a neurological condition, it's even more critical.

Why? Dehydration can really dial up symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, and muscle weakness. We want you feeling your best, not struggling through the heat!

The NHS has some great guidelines to keep you well-hydrated:

* ๐Ÿ’ง Aim for 6-8 glasses of fluids daily. Think water, or sugar-free drinks!
* โ˜€๏ธ You might need more than that in this hot weather. Listen to your body!
* โฐ The best way to do it? Sip regularly throughout the day instead of chugging it all at once.

So grab that glass of water โ€“ your body (and brain!) will seriously thank you for it. Stay cool, stay hydrated! ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’™

If youโ€™ve ever wondered what my Mondays off with my little boy look likeโ€ฆ hereโ€™s a glimpse.
Beach days, barefoot adventures, and just soaking in the simple joy of playing together. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ‘ฃ
I wonโ€™t lie โ€” switching off from work completely is tough, and I do sneak in a bit of admin during nap timeโ€ฆ but this time with him is absolutely priceless.
Wouldnโ€™t trade it for the world ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ Recently, we had the privilege of spending a session with a client, their spouse, and their daughter โ€” a session centred not just on rehab, but on understanding, acceptance, and connection.

The goal? To help their daughter better understand the neurological injury and its impact โ€” physically, emotionally, and relationally. It was an incredibly empowering time, filled with honesty, love, and growth. You could feel the deep bond between parent and child, even as they navigated this new chapter together.

Neurological injuries and progressive conditions affect more than just the individual. Families grieve, adapt, and find meaning in their own ways โ€” and often, at different speeds. But by creating space for shared understanding and involvement, we can help bring families closer.

We were proud to help this daughter not only engage with the rehab process, but take an active role in it at home. Sometimes just being able to hold a hand or support a stretch can be transformative โ€” not just physically, but emotionally.

As a parent myself, I know how complex and precious the parent-child bond can be. Itโ€™s not always easy, especially under changing circumstances โ€” but itโ€™s worth everything. And weโ€™re here to support you every step of the way.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ If your family or friends are finding it hard to understand or engage, bring them along. Weโ€™ll tailor a session that meets everyoneโ€™s needs.

We recently received this beautiful, heartfelt card in response to the article published in the Frontline magazine. ๐Ÿ’Œ

It reached a fellow physiotherapist who recognised me from over 10 years ago โ€” back when I was working in the NHS โ€” as the physio who supported a member of their family. They kindly shared the article with another relative, who then went out of their way to find us here in and send such kind, thoughtful words.

This was one of those unexpected, deeply moving moments that reminds you just how much impact a physio can have โ€” even years later. ๐Ÿ’™

To the person who sent this: Iโ€™ve tried several avenues to reach you, but sadly havenโ€™t had any luck. I truly hope this post finds you, or a family member, so you know how grateful I am. It would mean the world to thank you personally. ๐Ÿ™

Following our recent win at the Dorchester Business Awards ๐Ÿ†, weโ€™re absolutely thrilled to share that weโ€™ve now been shortlisted for the West Dorset Business Awards! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ™Œ

This recognition means the world to us โ€“ itโ€™s a reflection of the hard work, heart, and passion we put into delivering expert neurological physiotherapy to our amazing community. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ช

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way โ€“ we couldnโ€™t do it without you! ๐Ÿ’ซ

Stay tuned... and wish us luck! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ…

Itโ€™s been amazing to receive such kind messages following the awards and the recent article published in the Frontline Magazine.

What I didnโ€™t expect was the heartfelt responses from fellow physios โ€” especially those working in neuro โ€” who said the article gave them a lift, some motivation, or simply helped them feel seen.

Itโ€™s reminded me just how much hard graft goes into our work. As neurological physiotherapists, we give a lot of ourselves โ€” emotionally and physically โ€” to support people through complex, life-changing challenges. And sometimes, itโ€™s easy to lose sight of the fact that we are making a difference.

Imposter syndrome is real in our profession. But the fundamentals of what we do โ€” expert movement analysis, specific physiotherapy skills, and a deep ethos of care โ€” are enough. They provide the foundation for everything we do, even as we continue to strive for more.

We push constantly for better outcomes. We often absorb our clientsโ€™ struggles and give them some of our own energy to help carry the load. We care deeply. Thatโ€™s what makes this work so special โ€” and so effective. But itโ€™s also why we sometimes need to pause, check in with ourselves, and acknowledge our own value.

So to all my physiotherapy peers โ€” especially those in neuro โ€” thank you. Your work matters. You are making an impact. Keep going. Keep caring. And donโ€™t forget to celebrate the wins, big or small. Showing up day in, day out, is worth recognising too.

Thank you and for allowing me to post your comments.
