Sometimes, dogs understand the heart in ways humans can’t. 🐾
There is no judgment, no expectations, no pressure to perform, just quiet companionship that fills the loneliness. ❤️
Dogs have a remarkable ability to connect with people on an emotional level.
Their presence alone can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and encourage social interaction.
Loneliness often stems from a lack of meaningful social connections.
Our dog assisted wellbeing services create opportunities for people to connect not only with dogs but also with each other, as we have seen all too well in our sessions. Residents who were withdrawn coming out of their shells and socialising with dogs, staff and other residents.
We are proud to announce that we have delivered dog assisted wellbeing to over 100 people so far from January 28th to February 28th 2026 in the local area.
The results we have seen so far have been incredible.
This is just the beginning for Pause With Paws CIC 🐾
Thank you for supporting us and don’t forget that next Sunday (8th March) at Shardlow Village Hall we are hosting a small, calm International Women’s Day wellbeing afternoon with our wellness dogs.
Gentle dog time, guided meditation and hot drinks.
No networking. No pressure.
Just space to Pause, with paws 🐾
As a CIC, any funds raised are used to bringing more sessions to those who need it 💕
