What thoughts control your peace? Are you able to sit still without feeling like you need to urgently move? Does agitation set in the minute you try and step off the world for a moment?

We often confuse being still with doing nothing, they are two very different things. Stillness comes through reflection and reflection means we are in conversation with ourselves, not forcing silence.

The next time you feel agitated by trying to meditate or clear your headspace, then do the opposite of trying, stop trying. Let the thoughts come into your mind and then speak them out loud.
