✨ Introducing a New Therapist to The Wellbeing Circle ✨

We’re really pleased to welcome Barry Nicol to our team at The Wellbeing Hub, Dunblane 🤍

Barry brings a deeply compassionate and grounded presence, shaped by a rich and varied life journey. With a background in military service, over 20 years in the care sector and training as a Reiki Master, his work is rooted in both lived experience and a genuine desire to support others.

Having navigated his own challenges, including Complex PTSD, Barry understands first-hand the importance of finding the right support - and the power of approaches that work at a deeper level.

Barry now offers the Mace Energy Method (MEM) - a gentle yet powerful therapeutic approach designed to address the root cause of emotional disturbances, rather than simply managing symptoms.

✨ What is Mace Energy Method?
MEM is a non-confrontational therapy that works quickly and effectively, without the need to revisit difficult past experiences or share extensive personal details.

✨ Benefits may include:
• Rapid release of emotional distress
• No need for detailed case history
• A private, empowering process
• Often effective in just one session
• Suitable for people from all walks of life

Sessions can take place in person at the hub or online, allowing flexibility and comfort for each individual.

Barry’s passion is simple but powerful - to help others move forward, feel empowered and experience life with greater ease.

✨ Barry will be available every Thursday at The Wellbeing Hub, Dunblane.

If you feel called to try something different, supportive and potentially life-changing, this could be a beautiful option for you 🤍

Get in touch to be first in line for a taster session.

Special thanks to Jen from Inbrace Therapy for a brilliant morning at The Snug on Sunday. ✨
Such a wonderful, informative workshop.

We learned more about our nervous system and took away some really helpful tools to support it in everyday life.

Looking forward to more!

The Wellbeing Circle (CIC) is currently looking to expand its team by welcoming a voluntary funding support role.

We are particularly interested in connecting with someone who has experience in:
• The third sector / Community Interest Companies
• Grant funding and application processes
• Community project development

This role will support the identification of funding opportunities and assist with grant applications to help expand access to wellbeing services, workshops and community programmes.

Our mission is simple:
“Well being for Every Body.”

This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a growing, values-led organisation focused on accessibility, connection and holistic wellbeing.

If this sounds like you - or someone in your network - we’d love to connect.

Please message us directly or email: info@thewellbeingcircle.co.uk

After a lovely break to enjoy a warm drink and some delicious homemade snacks, we got hands-on and made our own herbal tea using elderflower, peppermint, nettle and plantain 🌿.

We also created a vinegarette to take home – a perfect little ritual to lift the spirits!

The group asked lots of curious questions and picked up some really useful tips along the way.

A huge thank you to The Hillfoots Herbalist for sharing your knowledge and making the session so engaging – it was truly awesome 💛.

Here is the first instalment of photos from Saturday’s Wellbeing Gathering… 💫

We began with a gentle moment to come together - to settle, soften and release any tension we’d brought with us 🤍

From there, we were treated to a truly wonderful and interactive herbal medicine talk with the amazing Lesley Dawson 🌿✨

So… what is Herbal Medicine?

Herbal medicine uses plants and plant parts to support the body back to balance and health. Gentle yet powerful, it works beautifully on its own or alongside conventional medicine - treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Remedies can be made from roots, flowers, leaves, bark, fungi or even seaweed.. and are often taken as teas, tinctures, creams or capsules.

It can support both acute and chronic conditions, and is especially helpful for those longer-term, stubborn issues such as skin conditions, digestive concerns, fatigue, poor sleep, hormone balance, joint pain and mood 🌱

During the session, we explored the properties of:
🌹 Rose
🌼 Dandelion root
🌿 Sage
✨ Frankincense

It was incredible to realise just how many plants around us can be used in everyday ways — from creams to soothe joint pain, to tinctures supporting allergies, to simple additions like salad dressings that nourish our wellbeing from the inside out 💚

And of course… we got to taste some beautiful creations too — including fire cider and blackcurrant vinegar 🍷

Such a special, inspiring session… more photos to follow ✨
