Hillcrest Maintenance is recruiting for a number of Joiner positions, across the Dundee and Angus area.

Hillcrest Maintenance cover all aspects of gas, plumbing, electrical, joinery, wet trade, carpet fitting and cleaning works for domestic and commercial properties. Are you qualified with an approved joinery qualification such as City and Guilds, Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) or National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3, Have previous experience carrying out window and door installations and have high standards of customer care? If so, we would love to hear from you!

🕐 39 hours per week (Temporary for a min of 6 months)
💷 £37,104 per annum plus staff benefits
📅 Closing Date: 28 November 2025

Katie from our Millview Service recently visited Barnetts Toyota in Dundee with her keyworker, Danielle, to collect her brand-new Motability car. This is a huge milestone for Katie, earlier this year, she enjoyed her first holiday abroad, and now she has a car that allows her to sit up front and truly embrace her role as a passenger princess!

A big thank you to Nathan at Barnetts Toyota for helping Katie choose the perfect car and for making the experience extra special with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a pack of Diet Coke to celebrate.

Katie’s new car will open up even more opportunities for her to explore Scotland and create amazing new memories.

Work is progressing well on our development in Newcraighall, Edinburgh, with 163 new homes taking shape on the site of a former coal mine.

Despite work only commencing around 11 months ago, four apartment blocks and two rows of terraced houses have already emerged, with the first tranche of homes expected to be ready for tenants by summer next year. The same day we are celebrating a fresh chapter toward nurturing young talent and strengthening the future workforce.

Hillcrest and Quest Scotland are working together to support six apprentices through their Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration and SVQ qualification at level 6. The apprentices have been in post for a month and have already gained practical skills across a range of disciplines while working alongside experienced professionals at Hillcrest.

Quest will support the completion of the SVQ in Business Administration and Modern Apprenticeship ensuring each apprentice receives the guidance and resources needed to succeed.
