If you see a dog owner get a new dog and spend most of their time with the newbie, please don't judge and think they have replace their first dog(s) because I know for sure that's not what's happened in our case.

Olive has helped 100's of dogs in the years I have trained dogs and their owners, but it's her time to live life for herself now.

If you have ever gotten or ever do get the chance to meet her, you are one of the lucky ones. Trust me you'd much rather meet her than the other two looneys🫣

Something I've wanted to speak about out loud for a while.

Having that tiny little unit with a massive clientele coming through every month may have looked impressive from some people's point of view, but from mine, it was extremely difficult and nearly broke me.

By no means am I a perfect mother or business owner, there's always room for improvement😅

But looking back to 4 months ago compare to now, I feel like a different person. A better mum, a better business owner.

One day I will improve my business to that level again but for now, my priorities lie with my family and my loyal clients🤍

The heart break of your eldest dog not having the same lifestyle as they once did before❤️‍🩹

Today she was home alone for 6 hours, not because she needed to be, but because that was what was best for her. I was out and about, walking the younger dogs, she would have just been in the car the whole day. So I decided to keep her home where she was warm and comfortable.

She used to be the dog that was by my side nearly 24/7, but it's just not what is good for her anymore and I know that's just what happens when dogs get older but I feel like I need to treat her like she's five years older than what she actually is💔

Being a good dog mum is hard, but being an ethical dog owner and a mum to a child is even harder

Trying to give each individual everything they deserve and more, everything you need to give them and everything you want to give them

Sometimes you can’t do it all and you have to settle with what you can give

And I don’t mean the essential things to keep both dogs and a child happy, healthy and thriving. I mean the things that are a privilege in life that some take for granted

But you have to look at the things that you DO have and take for granted and that others strive towards. Those are the things that keep you going when you feel your not doing or giving enough
