Things I'm grateful for this week ππΌ
1οΈβ£ A week of pouring rain then bright sunny skies. One minute it's mild the next cold, but the light still shines through. Whether it's sunlight, spotlight or candle light, remember its all a reflection of the light within you β¨οΈ
2οΈβ£ These big tankers have moved up and down the water outside our house for as long as we've lived here. Somewhere along the line, when my children were little, a story was made up about where they go, what they do and who drives them. Bert was the name that was made up along with so many tales and adventures that my children loved to hear about. They don't wave at Bert anymore, but I still smile when I see 'him' β΄οΈ
3οΈβ£ More light. The best light! It's so important to get daylight as we go into the dark part of the year. I find getting my daily steps in harder as the weather changes, but even a little bit is better than nothing βοΈ
4οΈβ£ Should a Yoga teacher be showing off her gym gains?? Well, I considered maybe I shouldn't. Yoga isn't about how I look. However, I don't practise or teach Yoga just as a form of exercise. I use it for many many reasons, but it's the gym I go to to build strength and muscle. Not for vanity, but to keep moving, to keep my independence, and to prepare for my old lady body. If I'm honest, I'm proud of what I've achieved. I'm 54 and post menopausal, I've worked hard, so yeah, I'm showing off πͺ
5οΈβ£ It was pouring with rain outside when I took this photo of my Yoga Hut. The noise of the rain on the roof was somehow quite soothing as I was cosy and warm inside waiting for my 1:1 student. I'll always be grateful for this space π
6οΈβ£ And then finishing off the week with a refreshing walk to Culross in the sunshine and a hot chocolate at my favourite spot, . Great way to finish the week π«
I hope you've all had a great week and found plenty to be grateful for.
Have a super weekend.
