A really nice day out and the perfect way to welcome the new season!

Our residents had a wonderful time baking, icing and decorating their own Valentine’s cupcakes. It was a lovely way to share memories of past Valentines, and enjoy a few sweet treats along the way. Quality time, busy hands and happy hearts all round ❤️

We had so much fun playing our giant Snakes and Ladders game 🐍🪜 It was lovely to see our residents sharing giggles and enjoying the game together 💙

Continuing our monthly tradition, we were delighted to welcome members of the local church to lead their monthly service for the residents. We’re so thankful for their continued kindness and the generous time they give to be part of our community.

What a wonderful idea it was to visit Blake House Craft Centre! Enjoying time out in the community, sharing conversations, and relaxing in such a welcoming place brought lots of smiles and happy moments for everyone.

Music has such a powerful impact on wellbeing – it brings joy, sparks cherished memories, and encourages connection. Seeing our residents light up, tap along, and join in with familiar tunes made the morning truly special. 💙🎵

What a lovely morning we had! ☀️
Our residents enjoyed a great mix of activities, including Fling Soccer, bingo and Jenga, with plenty of laughs along the way. There were lots of smiles, friendly competition and wonderful moments shared together. A brilliant way to start the day! 💙

As February slowly approaches, love has been gently blooming in our home ❤️ Over the past few days, our residents have been busy creating a beautiful Valentine’s window display. It’s been a lovely time, filled with creativity, smiles and togetherness, as we get ready for this special day.

Congratulations to Malcolm, who won the sensory Zig Zag game! 🎉
Our handmade game has been designed to help improve residents’ hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills, while also giving residents the opportunity to spend time together and enjoy themselves 😊

As part of our “You Said, We Did” initiative, one of our residents shared a wish to visit a shop to buy a new cardigan 🧶🛍️
We were pleased to arrange a visit to the nearby Freeport Outlet, where we enjoyed browsing the shops together and finding the perfect cardigan. It was a lovely outing that supported choice, independence and brought plenty of smiles along the way 😊

Staying active is an essential part of everyday life in our home, and our residents truly enjoy taking part in regular exercise sessions. These activities offer great opportunities for social interaction, confidence-building, and overall wellbeing.
