Dunoon on the move continues the excellent work of Dunoon Bothy project supporting people to make more everyday journeys by walking, cycling or wheeling.

Check out our programme of walks, cycles, training and e-bike loans, all supported by a team of trained volunteers. Dunoon on the move is funded by HITRANS and supported by Dunoon Community Development Trust.

Thats a wrap for our Winter Workshops in conjunction with Cowal Mountain Bike Club. Thank you to all who showed on a dreich night to listen to Fiona Martin of Lochs, Bens & Glens Ltd. discussing nutrition and how to fuel ourselves well for activities (and life in general!).
It was a thought provoking evening 😁

We have some exciting news!!
In the summer we will be offering a few Hikes. These will be quite challenging in terrain, but not vast distances. We are looking at destinations such as the Secret Bothy at the top of Pucks Glen, A'Chruach, Buachailean and Elligan. Keep your eyes peeled for the first date, likely end of May / start of June.

A reminder that we now offer bike repair and servicing here in Dunoon - a much needed service with west coast weather and trails taking a beating on your bikes!

Thanks to all who have trusted us with your bicycles in the past few weeks. Common repairs so far have included replacing cables, servicing hydraulic brake systems, and various bearing services.

We also offer chain replacement and hot waxing.⛓️

What a horrible day!
However, very well done to the brave/hardy/mad folk who came out on our Ramble today. We did a shorter route across the Heritage Trail which was lovely and about right for conditions today ☔️
Hope youre sitting with a well deserved cuppa now ☕️☕️
