🦙Weekend Alpaca Update 🦙

This weekend all of our alpacas had their winter check, which included a vitamin D supplement, weight checks, and hair & nail trims. We’re thrilled to say they all passed with flying colours!

Grace, however, was not impressed. Out came her favourite party trick — dramatically lying down and pretending to be dead in the hope she’d be forgotten 🤦‍♀️😂

What a magical day on our first trek of 2026 ❄️🦙

Snow gently falling, outstanding scenery, and a lovely couple. Carl & Rachel had so much fun and embraced every second of the experience.

Our gorgeous alpaca Amazing Grace formed a beautiful connection with Rachel — an inspiring moment perfectly captured in this photo showing the special connection between humans and animals 💙

Our special guests achieved something truly wonderful - hand-feeding our boys, Andreas and Chico! Something that has not happened until today. This milestone is the result of a year’s worth of patience, training, and consistent effort, and seeing it come to life today was incredibly rewarding.

Thank you Carl & Rachel the alpacas loved you both and we had lots of fun on the trek!

✨A Full Circle Moment at the farm ✨
One year ago today , a family visited our alpaca farm for the very first time to experience a Meet &Greet . Today, they returned- marking the final workshop of our first highly successful season 🦙🎄
Seeing familiar faces come back , remembering their favourite alpacas, and sharing new memories reminded us why we do what we do. Families like this are the heart of our business, and we are so grateful to everyone who has made this year so special .

Sassy and Liv stole the show at their first Breakfast with Santa at The Farmers Arm @ Shadforth 🦙🦙🎅
The children were amazing—so gentle, excited, and full of smiles—and Santa was just as delighted as they were. A special shout-out to Mikey the Elf, who joined Sassy and Liv and helped spread extra festive cheer! Lots of cuddles, giggles, and unforgettable Christmas moments ❤️🎄

Despite the rain, this lovely family brought so much warmth and joy to their Christmas Experience at today’s Mrs Claus Workshop. Dad and son had a fantastic time with Pablo, enjoying his spirited, sporty jumps, while their amazing three-year-old daughter proved to be a brilliant little alpaca handler! Their enthusiasm and festive spirit made the whole morning truly magical. 🎄🦙✨
