Offering Conductive Education sessions across the North East. Conductive Education is all about potential and the person as a whole. It's a holistic learning approach that combines psychology, education and physical tasks to facilitate learning. It was initially designed for children who have motor disorders of neurological origin such as cerebral palsy but has since expanded to support a wide range of children, including those with Dyspraxia and Down Syndrome.

Today is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day and it's celebrating 20 years!

Conductive Education was originally designed for children with Cerebral Palsy, however over time it has expanded to work with a wide range of Children and Adults.

Cerebral Palsy is an umbrella term for a range of physical conditions that affect movement and posture. It affects the way the brain communicates with the muscles but it does not define a child's potential.

Conductive Educatio is based on the idea of neuroplasticity—that the brain can be "re-wired" through conscious, intentional practice.

However it is so much more than movement. It's about building a foundation for life.
