Have a look at what's inside my Monkey Puzzle story bag that I love to use in my Conductive Education sessions.

Monkey Puzzle is a brilliant book written by Julia Donaldson and I love using it in my sessions.

The bag contains a variety of resources to help support and bring the story to life including grass, leaves and pine cones plus also soft toys of the characters.

I have also created some communication boards and cards that were created on Widgit Software.

It also includes some tasks and activities such as threading and jigsaw puzzles that go with the story.

We had a fabulous group session today at Live Well North East .

We had lots of fun throwing bean bags into the target, pushing the ball into the goal, watching the rocket go up and looking at musical instruments.

There was also some lovely interactions, turn taking and communication.

Over my carer I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of Children and Adults ranging from the ages 6 months - 80 years old with various conditions.

Although Conductive Education was originally designed for children with Cerebral Palsy, however over time it has expanded to work with a wide range of Children and Adults, these include;

Dyspraxia
Down Syndrome
Spinal Bifida
Ataxia
Complex Medical Needs
Acquired brain injury
Global develop delay
Genetic conditions
Stroke
Autism
ADHD
Other Neurological movement disorders or syndromes.

This morning I attended the True Colours Theatre CIO Foundation networking event.

It was lovely to finally visit the centre as I have heard such beautiful things about it.

It was fantastic to hear their story, watch a couple of brilliant performances plus also meet and have a chat with some other professionals.

I absolutely love the performing arts and the power of it. I even have an A Level in Theatre Studies!

I can't wait for my next visit.
