Another satisfied customer. We had a customer who had this Mercedes GLC that had a faulty aftermarket screen fitted, sadly the screen was no longer available so we had to remove the old system installed by another company. They had added so many extra units and done a very poor job at rooting the cables. Once all this was removed we installed are new equipment. And coded it to the car, now not only does are customer have apple car play and android auto, but they also have the new 2024 look on the interface. This incorporates the old rear view camera and all the OEM Mercedes equipment too.

Today's little job, well, massive job as it was started 10 years ago and left due to personal circumstances by the owner. It was pulled apart without photos and wiring diagrams.

I must say doing it in March, with the way the temperatures have been recently. I thought I'd be frozen to the bone, but no, with this lovely little Yellow Elan s4, the sun shone brightly for us.

Only Day 1, but I can see this car is already happy that we've started to return it back to it former glory.

So we haven't done an update for a while, well there's good reason for this. has been to see Doug who is currently working on it. It needs some welding (as do all XKRs in the UK. ) so we will be having a break while we wait for this to be done. We will show you the outcome after the work is complete.

Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
And spare a thought for all those project car owners who can't be with their car at this difficult time due to being stuck in a garage having work done on it over the Xmas period.

Remember it can be hard for petrol and gear heads to cope this time of year, not being able to do the shows and events we love all year round. Spare a though for all those car guys and gals who might just shut themselves away a bit more at Christmas.
