Recently, Healthcare Improvement Scotland inspected my clinic.
This is not a tick box visit and it is not about pretty before and afters. It is a full healthcare inspection that looks at how safe, ethical, and well run a clinic actually is behind the scenes.
They reviewed everything, from consultations and consent, to cleanliness, emergency planning, record keeping, and how patient wellbeing is assessed, including mental health considerations.
Their findings reflected what matters most here.
A calm, clean, professionally run clinic.
Time built into consultations with no pressure to proceed.
Clear consent and detailed aftercare.
Strong focus on patient safety and person centred care.
Systems in place to support patients properly, not just during treatment but after.
Why does this matter?
Because aesthetics should never feel rushed, unclear, or unsafe. It should feel medically led, well thought out, and properly regulated. The inspection report is published and available to read publicly, and anyone is welcome to view it.
I am genuinely proud of this report. A huge amount of thought, training, reflection, and care goes into making sure the clinic is safe, ethical, and well run for every single person who comes through the door.
Thank you to everyone who trusts me with their care.
