Mirror work 💛

This is a new practice for me: something that I have felt won’t work unless I make the big shifts inside.
You know the ones; the ones that have been there since little Emma began believing and behaving in a way that meant she had to earn love. The ones that meant I stayed in places that weren’t healthy or safe for me for longer than I should have.

So, with the big work going on behind the scenes, this little practice may help a long the way.

Every little helps, right?!

Skye has my heart 💛

Last week I was fortunate enough to retreat to the Isle of Skye with & .

The landscape was breathtakingly beautiful. I fell in love with the mountains, heather, hills and beaches.
It felt like home; peaceful and comforting, whilst also magical and mystical. Filled with awe in nature, my favourite place, and surrounded by wonderfully inspiring people and delicious, transformative yoga practices.

So very grateful for the space to be able to go, just be and to find joy again. To come back to me ###

Full body gym workout

So went to the gym at 9.30pm last night.
Quite late and not ideal. But my aim is consistency…although I also need to get more sleeps.
Also need to remember I am not perfect and that I can improve.

So my keeping it real, not a “perfect, got all my s**t together fitness influencer”, but a 40 year old single mum, trying to build muscle for her old lady self, whilst running a business, a house and raising two children without committing murder full body gym workout is…

1. Warm up and glute/core activation
2. RDL warm up
3. Sn**ch grip RDLS
4. Dance break (obligatory)
5. Bulgarian split squat evilness
6. 1 1/4 chest press
7. How I feel about split squats
8. Rows & a dance
9. Glute pump
10. Get home and the cat has to sit with me whilst I p*e

Spring Term Classes🌷

The new term begins week beginning 9th March

Ready to get moving as the days grow lighter and longer?
Feeling more energised?
Loving the outdoors and that Spring feel in the air?

Join me in the garden for STRONG & FIT strength circuits.
We work the whole body with a mix of bodyweight, dumbbell, resistance band and kettlebell exercises, with some cardio work too.

This class is for you if you want to:-

🌷Save time & still get an effective workout
🌷Burn calories & boost fat loss
🌷Improve cardiovascular fitness
🌷Build muscle endurance & overall strength
🌷reduce boredom when exercising
🌷Improve bone density
🌷Get outdoors & be in nature

Looking for a lower intensity, more gentle way to move your body? Shift, find space and explore moving with more ease in Hatha with Em or the even slower paced Mindful movement yoga classes.

A slow, somatic, mindful practice - an invitation to pause, breathe, feel and return home to yourself.
An opportunity to explore postures from the inside out, feeling your way into movement that nourishes and connects us even more deeply to ourselves and the nature that surrounds.

9.45am LIFT - an intro to strength
5.30pm LIFT & SCULPT - intermediate strength
6.45pm Apanaveda yoga - a gentle pause & rest

Wednesdays @ my garden, East Rudham

5.45pm STRONG & FIT - strength & conditioning circuits
7pm Hatha yoga with Em @ Green Park Rural Centre, Wicken Green

Fridays @ Great Bircham social club

9.45am Mindful movement - gentle morning yoga
