Highlight number seven! In July we had our EyeCan CYP pizza party, and what an incredible day it was. Young people aged 10 to 25 were welcomed to Visibility Scotland for an afternoon filled with creativity, connection, and plenty of fun.

Throughout the day, everyone had the chance to explore three different activity stations. Our arts and crafts area offered a relaxed space to get creative, try new materials, and make something to take home. The gaming station was busy from start to finish, giving participants the chance to play together, share tips, and enjoy some friendly competition. We were also delighted to have live music, which added a brilliant atmosphere and encouraged plenty of singing along.

And, of course, no party is complete without good food. Everyone came together to enjoy delicious pizza and chat with new and familiar faces.

We look forward to hosting more opportunities for young people to connect, have fun, and feel part of our community.

⭐️ WE ARE LOOKING FOR WOMEN OR BUSINESSES THAT WANT TO CHANGE THE GAME⭐️

Are you:

➡️ A woman leader, entrepreneur or experienced woman in business
➡️ An aspiring future leader or a young woman in business
➡️ A business who wants to support its women employees, and make a change

If so, we want to hear from you!

Sharon Stephen and I are currently designing a new workshop aimed at empowering young women to step into their confidence, own their space and thrive in the workplace and we would love your help and insight.

Rather than create this in a vacuum, we want to co-create something meaningful, shaped by the insight and lived experiences of incredible women.

For starters, we are looking at building coaching exercises and practical techniques around the following themes:

🌟Imposter Syndrome
🌟Confidence
🌟Communicating with Authority
🌟Stepping into Your Power

We’ll be running a focus group to establish the workshop content - if you’re open to sharing tips, thoughts, stories or lessons learned, we’d love to hear from you. 📞

Our aim is to design a workshop to empower women to stand up and lead - with no room for self doubt! Our pilot programme will kick off in October this year.

Additionally, if this is something you feel you, your organisation or business could benefit from - please also get in touch! We want to create something that genuinely works for you.

Together, let’s step up and support the next generation of women leaders 💪🏽💪🏻

Wholesome and hilarious scenes at our socialising group this week with and Jim McAnulty. We made up songs from jokes, played everyone’s favourites and generally had the best fun ever. The groups help combat loneliness for young people who are vision impaired and there’s no better way to create joy than music. ❤️⭐️

It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with on their ‘Spark & Scale’ programme over the last 6 weeks. Seeing some incredible women start and grow phenomenal businesses has been inspiring. We helped them make friends with or silence their inner critic so they could focus on what they really wanted and get out of their own way. Can’t wait to see what these amazing women do next! ❤️

Since 2023, we’ve been working with on a socialisation programme for young people. It’s been, by far, one of our favourite pieces of work and definitely the most rewarding. Spending time with these incredible people and seeing them gain confidence has been an absolute privilege. Last week we facilitated a self defence workshop by Scottish Centre for Personal Safety - designed to empower and build confidence in our young people, as well as joining forces with to deliver some dance and meditation. It’s hard to think of a more fun way to spend a Friday. If you’re looking for trained facilitators to lead group work across any organisation, give us a shout!

Happy Friday! 💛We’re trying to get better at taking a minute to reflect and be still. Despite being coaches we’ve not done this enough over a hectic summer so we understand how hard it can be to prioritise. 💫 However, the benefits can be transformational! Taking time out (even 5 mins!) to be present is proven to be beneficial for stress and reduces anxiety. A pretty good reason to head to the park! Plus, we’ve just solved a challenge that we haven’t managed to for a week - win, win! Have a brilliant weekend 🎉💫🙌🏽
