Big News! We are thrilled to announce that Randolph Hill Nursing Home Group has won Activities Team of the Year UK 2025!
This Caring UK Award celebrates and recognises excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.
During a comprehensive two-stage judging process over recent months, we had the opportunity to provide examples, from each of our 7 homes within the Randolph Hill Group, of the commitment to providing a range of engaging activities. This was evidenced by the Care Inspectorate reports, glowing testimonials and reviews from residents, staff, and families.
The process also allowed us to highlight examples of best practice in person-centred care, activities success stories, overcoming challenges, and future planning.
We also presented the support provided by the Head Office team, including advancements in digital initiatives and proactive practices that contribute to the Group’s success. Examples of teamwork and innovation were also key elements.
Caring UK Awards director Dominic Musgrave said: "This year’s winners should be very very proud – the high standard of entries made it a tough job to select a final shortlist never mind a winner and runner-up in each category. For each category, up to nine finalists were selected to advance to the final stage of the competition. The winners were announced at the prestigious awards ceremony at The Athena in Leicester on Thursday, December 4th, where the industry gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements in the care sector. Hosted by television personality Des Coleman, Randolph Hill was represented by Care Quality Manager Jo Comrie, Blenham House manager Mandy Boyd, and activities staff Juan Otero (Blenham House), Billy Meredith (Holmesview), and John Cole (Holmesview).
