In October, we will continue with the same ONLINE format and class schedule. Unlimited access to my online classes will be by a monthly fee of £20 per month for each household and will now include additional Movement Snacks each week. See class times below.

I believe keeping moving and feeling good is maybe more important now than ever. Maintaining a familiar structure and a strong sense of community in a safe and considered way is important too.

About Susan

Susan Welsh is an Edinburgh-based certified Pilates instructor committed to teaching you more about your body through mindful movement.

Growing up, I always loved sport and physical exercise, I was up for any challenge, so when I had my first son I presumed I could get back to it right away.

Unfortunately, at the time, despite all my physical activity, I had a lack of understanding about the way the body works and repairs itself. I tried to get back into all the activities I had done, and realised that I wasn’t able to do this without pain and discomfort. It just didn’t feel good. After the birth of my second son, I ended up needing a hernia operation.

At that point my sister recommended Pilates - that is when everything changed for me. I understood why my body hurt. It was so simple: I wasn’t balanced. It was such a basic concept that I had never really been taught before in all my training.
