It's a question I'm often asked: "Why are you so passionate about Tropic?" And the answer is simple. Tropic completely changed my life.
To some, it might sound dramatic, but the transformation in confidence between the two women in these pictures is truly remarkable.

I vividly remember sending these images to a friend Kelly while I was trying on different glasses. I worked long hours in a GP practice within the NHS, staring at a computer screen all day.
When I sent the pictures, I immediately asked her to delete them because I couldn't stand looking at myself. Looking back now, I wish I had kept those photos. I had made everyone delete them because I loathed my skin.

I understand firsthand how much your skin can impact your confidence. The negative self-talk, self-worth, and self-esteem – it's astounding how your skin can influence who you think you are. I’m so excited the news is finally out: I’m going to be a Guest Dragon on the next series of Dragons’ Den!

I started Tropic from a market stall at fifteen, and I know the grit, vision and belief it takes to turn a spark of an idea into something extraordinary. So when invited me to sit in that iconic chair, it was one of the quickest yeses of my life!
