We also pride ourselves on providing a full spectrum of care tailored to individual needs within all our Scottish Care Homes. In a nursing environment great attention is paid to activities of daily living. Each resident receives a careful assessment to identify what his or her individualised care should be. This allows care plans to be constructed to meet their specific needs. Our dedicated team provide specialised care in a safe, homely atmosphere where the residents are cared for with dignity and respect. This allows each resident to feel comfortable, content and “at home”. We offer every resident, and their loved ones, the opportunity to participate in their care to a level of involvement that they choose. We believe that our Care Homes in Morningside, Colinton Village and Juniper Green, Edinburgh, should be therapeutic yet homelike environments where the resident can feel their individual needs are met with priority.

🌹 Lest We Forget 🌹 Over the weekend and today, our residents took time to remember and reflect on the brave servicemen and women who gave so much ❤️

We shared stories, crafted poppies and paused together for Remembrance Sunday and today’s Armistice Day.

🎄 Festive High Tea Bookings Now Open! ☕🍰

We’re so excited to invite the families and friends of our residents at Morningside Manor, Lorimer House and Thorburn Manor to join us for a special afternoon of delicious treats and festive cheer.

Our high teas will run from 17th November to 12th December, Monday to Friday. To reserve your spot, simply contact each home directly with your preferred date. Bookings close on 3rd November, so don’t wait too long - go, go, go!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

✨ A look back at some of our wonderful September adventures! From special birthday celebrations to knitting, book club chats, peaceful barge trips, joyful music therapy, and plenty arts & crafts 🎨🎶

We also marked World Alzheimer’s Day with a lovely walk through Saughton Park Rose Garden, and rounded things off with a delicious pub lunch at Tanners 🍽️🍻
