FRIDAY from tension to settling 〰️

by the end of the week it’s rarely just a case of “tight muscles”

it’s accumulated load through fascia 🕸 the connective tissue that adapts to repetition (desk, driving, training, posture)

in fridays class we use yin + myofascial release to apply slow, sustained pressure into these tissues
this helps improve hydration, reduce stiffness and allow layers to slide more freely again

rather than forcing stretches, we’re influencing tissue quality, joint space and how load is distributed through the body

the longer holds also stimulates mechanoreceptors, which helps down-regulate the nervous system
often the missing piece (because
tension is both physical and neurological 💪〰️🫁〰️🧠)

we finish with guided relaxation + sound
so the body has time to integrate

a shift from constant doing 👉 actual settling before the weekend ✨

HUMP DAY but from muscle to mind 〰️

In Wednesday class this kind of practice works deeper than a “stretch” we use techniques that work into the muscles & connective tissues
we’re loading and releasing muscles and connective tissue in a way that helps them rehydrate, slide, re-ogranise and adapt again rather than staying stiff and overheld

it gives joints more usable space, supports posture without forcing it, and helps the body redistribute effort so you’re not gripping in the same places all the time

paired with breath, it also down-regulates the nervous system, which is often the missing piece when tension isn’t just physical

it’s what keeps training sustainable, movement efficient, and the body feeling lighter rather than tighter ✨

if you're feeling stressed, holding tension sore or stiff from training or just need a stretch and time to switch off

we'll move through mfr, slow flow and yin and restorative to close into a restful soundbath to help the body and mind settle

all equipment provided and a homemade baked good to take home 🧁

we’ll be working through fascia + myofascial release to change how force travels up the body… easing that pull into the calves, knees, hips, and right up into the shoulders, neck and head 👀

because when the base shifts, the whole system responds

Sunday Sessions from Muscle to Mind〰️

A wee Sunday evening to properly unwind and land after the week

We’ll start with some simple myofascial release to ease out tension, move through a slow, accessible flow, then gradually downshift into yin & restorative shapes, finishing with guided relaxation and sound bath.

It’s designed to give your body time to settle, not rush in, rush out.
