🌚 New Moon & Solstice Blessings

A time for reflection, celebration, ritual; gratitude, release and renewal

Yule & Litha Blessings to our sisters in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres!

These seasonal festivals (sabbats) make up the 8 transitions from light to dark and dark to light following the wheel of the year ❄️ 🌸 ☀️ 🍂

In The Moonphase Journey Sisterhood, we recognise that these shifts in energy and intention can be observed within and without - in the moonphases, our menstrual cycles, our season and journey through womanhood and of course experienced and observed through the seasons - providing us with a framework for aligned living and manifestation.

At this mid point in the year, the solstice (meaning time standing still) invites us to pause, go inwards, reflect on all that has been and affirm how we want the next season in our lives to look.

🌚 We are also experiencing the final new moon of the year; asking us to release old cycles and conjure all we are ready to call in for the year and next season in our lives and ahead

Beautiful ❤️

A teacher who spent three decades in the classroom made an unusual request before her passing: she asked that backpacks filled with school supplies be brought to her funeral instead of flowers.

The gesture reflected her lifelong dedication to helping students who struggled to afford basic materials.

Mourners arrived carrying notebooks, pencils, lunch boxes, and backpacks, lining the church pews with items that would later be donated to children in need. Family members said the request captured her personality perfectly—practical, compassionate, and always thinking of her students. The sight of the bags filling the aisles became a powerful tribute to a life spent serving others.

Her final wish challenges the customary symbolism of funeral offerings. Instead of temporary arrangements, she sought something lasting—support for the next generation. It demonstrates how everyday acts of kindness, even in farewell, can ripple outward and influence an entire community.

This moment serves as a reminder that impact is often measured not by accolades, but by the care extended to others throughout a lifetime.
