How do you feel about making sounds in labour ? I encourage ladies to make sound if that feels right for them, but the right kind of sounds. Try to find earth sounds like a guh, Hmmm, muk, humming or a throat vibration. I always try to get my ladies to sing more or use mantra during pregnancy to find their voice.
* Did you know the connection between the womb and the throat ? Try to keep the jaw soft in labour
* Singing releases endorphins and the love hormone oxytocin.
* You might choose to be silent and go inwards during labour & that is totally fine.
