Saving lives with bleed kits CIC

🩸 2 Bleed Control Kits from The Daniel Baird Foundation have now been placed at The Crawford Memorial Hall in Bidford.

They are now registered with the Ambulance Service and available for public use. One is located inside and the other is on the outside in the Defibrillator Cabinet for 24/7 use.

A Bleed Kit can be used for any catastrophic bleed that could be from a work injury, sporting injury, road accident, dog bite, trip or a fall, or even a weapon etc

It is now registered with the Ambulance Service and available for public use.

🩸 There is now a Bleed Control Kit located at Merstow Green Funeral Home.
This Kit is now registered with the West Midlands Ambulance Service for public use.
This Bleed Kit has been kindly purchased by the staff of Merstow Green Funeral Home ❤️

🩸 I have just received notification from South Central Ambulance Service that one of the Bleed Kits was used last night.
After a serious self harm incident a member of the persons family was directed by 999 to the nearest Bleed Kit. A arterial bleed is life threatening unless treated quickly. The person it was used on is currently in a stable condition and in hospital 🙏
I would like to wish the person a full and speedy recovery ❤️

I will now get this kit emergency ready again asap ❤️

It's not all about knife crime. Accidents happen. Many of our bleed control kits are used on trips/falls, workplace injuries, sporting injuries or road accidents.

Once directed to the emergency medical equipment, members of the public are able to control the bleed until an ambulance arrives.

What a 6 months it’s been since I put the 1st kit out on the 1st April. 0-200 Bleed Control Kits now out & registered, for the public to use in the case of any catastrophic bleed 🩸

7 Kits have saved 7 lives ❤️

I am beyond grateful to everyone who has supported me, listened to me 😉 and amazingly donated to make it possible 🙏
