At EPIC we love having spaces where kids can play whilst adults talk. It is amazing what you learn from what they choose to do and it all adds to the value of the assessment.

Spring is here and the holidays are a chance to get out and about. For some autistic children and young people this can be overwhelming.

This sensory awareness sheet from the National Autistic Society can help your child/young person to feel grounded and regulated by acknowledging all that is around them.

If you would like to know more about assessing and supporting your child or young persons sensory processing contact admin@epicsolutions.org.uk.

A USA based organisation but a very important message. EPIC can assess and support if you are worried about FASD in your child or young person.

This Alcohol Awareness Month, we are raising awareness about the risks of prenatal alcohol exposure ( ) and the importance of support and education. No amount or type of alcohol is safe during pregnancy, yet nearly 1 in 7 pregnant people report drinking. Together, we can reduce PAE by sharing accurate information, offering support, and addressing stigma.

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders ( ) affect an estimated 1 in 20 people, yet many remain undiagnosed due to and lack of access to care. It’s never too late to stop drinking during pregnancy, and resources are available, including Recovering Mothers Anonymous (RMA), FASD United Family Navigators, and the NIAAA Alcohol Treatment Navigator.

Together, we can raise awareness, support families, and improve health outcomes.
