Most of the time we feel like anxiety came out of nowhere.

But it rarely does.

Think of it like a stress bucket. 🪣

Every day things quietly drip into that bucket without us even noticing...

Poor sleep. Saying yes when you mean no. Carrying everyone else’s worries. Never switching off. Putting yourself last. The mental load that never stops.

And one day the bucket overflow and we call it anxiety.

But here’s the good news…

Solution focused hypnotherapy works in two really powerful ways to help ease the stress bucket:

✨We find the drips. The things quietly filling your bucket that you’ve normalised and stopped noticing, and focus on how you’d like to feel instead… the SOLUTIONS 🫶🏼

✨Then we focus on deep relaxation and creating safety in your nervous symptom… HYPNO 🫶🏼

The anxiety isn’t the problem ~ It’s the message.

Can I tell you something nobody told me about anxiety in your 40s?

It doesn't always look like panic attacks and racing thoughts.

Sometimes it looks like anger… snapping at everyone you love for no reason.

Sometimes it's exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix.

A heart that races out of nowhere.

Forgetting things you'd never forget before.

Crying in the car and not knowing why.

Lying awake at 3am when everything is actually fine.

And the worst bit? You don't even recognise it as anxiety. You just think something is wrong with you.

Nothing is wrong with you. Your stress bucket is just full and your nervous system is overwhelmed.

If this sounds familiar save this, share it with someone who needs it & come find me. This is exactly what I help with 🤎

You didn’t suddenly become unlikeable.
Your brain went into threat mode 🚨

Social anxiety is brilliant at spotting danger…
but not always great at spotting accuracy.

Before you assume rejection, pause and ask:

✨Is this evidence… or is this anxiety✨

Not every neutral moment is a negative one.

Most of the time, it’s just a busy brain trying to protect you.

With love,
Karina 🤎

Our thoughts are sneaky little things.

They feel harmless… but our brains literally can’t tell what’s real from what we imagine.

So the ones we keep replaying? They shape our mood, our body, our day.

Maybe it’s time we choose which ones get our energy✨

Ever feel anxious when there's literally nothing to be anxious about? That's hidden anxiety, and it doesn't look like panic attacks.

It can look like -

✨ Overexplaining everything because a simple "Can you help me?" feels dangerous

✨ Rewriting text messages five times and agonising over what to wear to Tesco

✨ Scripting conversations days in advance and planning for every possible response

✨ People pleasing disguised as "being nice" because your authentic self didn't feel safe

✨ Physical symptoms you can't explain like stomach aches before social events and exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix

✨ Overachieving to feel "enough" because your worth felt conditional

✨ Cancelling plans last minute and needing days to recover from social interaction

✨ Apologising for existing. "Sorry to bother you." "Sorry for the late reply" (sent 10 minutes later)

Here's what I need you to know: This all makes so much sense.

Your anxiety isn't random. It's your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe when your authentic self wasn't welcomed.

You adapted brilliantly. But survival mode was never meant to be permanent.

You can learn to feel safe in your own body again. To trust yourself.

With love,
Karina

For a lot of people with high-functioning anxiety, the anxiety itself isn’t the real problem.

The root is usually something like:

• tying your worth to being capable, helpful or productive
• learning early on that staying “on it” kept you safe
• feeling responsible for other people’s feelings
• believing rest has to be earned

So you function. You achieve. You cope.

But your nervous system never really gets to switch off.

Healing (for me) isn’t about getting rid of anxiety.

It’s about listening to what it’s been trying to protect you from.

It’s learning you don’t need pressure to be okay.

That you’re allowed to feel safe without constantly proving yourself.

If this resonates, you’re probably not “too anxious”.
You’re just very, very good at holding it all together 🤍

Tell me you’ve got high functioning anxiety without telling me you’ve got high-functioning anxiety 🫠

I’ve been doing most of these for years and genuinely thought it was normal. Turns out running on pure stress and calling it ‘being organised’ isn’t actually how everyone lives.

Anyway if this is giving you flashbacks to sitting in your car 15 minutes early having a small crisis, you’re in good company.

Let me know which one called you out x

This isn’t procrastination. This isn’t being “bad at texting.”

This is hidden anxiety at work 🥹

It’s your brain trying to manage EVERY possible outcome before you hit send. And because it looks like nothing on the outside, people have no idea how much energy it actually takes.

This is the perfectionism that makes you rewrite “sounds good!” five times.

It’s the people pleasing that has you analysing tone like you’re defusing a bomb 💣

It’s the OVERTHINKING that turns a simple response into a 20 minute internal negotiation about whether you sound too eager, too cold, too much, or not enough.

Hidden anxiety is EXHAUSTING work that no one sees.

They just see someone who “takes a while to respond.” They don’t see the mental gymnastics, the drafts, the anxiety about being misunderstood, the fear of coming across wrong.

If this is you… your brain is just working overtime to keep everyone comfortable, including the version of you that you think everyone expects.

But maybe today, you can send the text without the 47 revisions. Maybe “sounds good” is actually... good enough.

Anyone else’s body just...on edge for no apparent reason?

You’re not imagining it. Hidden anxiety lives in your body.

It’s why you can feel completely fine mentally but physically feel like something’s off.

These physical symptoms aren’t random, they’re your nervous system stuck in a low-level alert mode.

And the frustrating bit? Your conscious mind has no idea why.

That’s because the anxiety’s running in your subconscious, your body’s reacting to stress and patterns you didn’t even know were there.

Your subconscious has just been holding onto things your conscious mind isn’t aware of.

If this is you and you’d like some help calming your nervous system, comment or DM “CALM” and I’ll send you something that might help.

With love,
Karina

I didn’t know I had anxiety for years.

To everyone else, I looked calm, capable, put together.

Inside? I was overthinking every conversation, over preparing for everything, drowning in self doubt, and saying yes when I meant no.

My body was struggling… air hunger, inflammation, constant aches, but I kept going because I looked fine.

That’s the thing about hidden anxiety. It’s real anxiety wearing a really convincing mask.

This lived experience completely changed how I show up for my clients. I know what it’s like to suffer quietly while appearing competent.

To doubt yourself constantly while everyone else sees your strengths.

If you’re reading this and thinking “wait, that’s me” you’re not alone.

With love,
Karina 🫶🏼

If you’ve been wondering why you’re so exhausted all the time even though you “look fine” this might be why.

Hidden anxiety is sneaky 👀 because it doesn’t look like anxiety.

🚩 It looks like being busy, being helpful, being “on it.”

But your nervous system? It’s been running at full speed for way too long and it’s feeling overwhelmed.

Can you relate?

Sometimes what you label as “just how I am” is really your nervous system doing its best with too much on its plate.

*The overworking.
*The pushing through.
*The irritability you feel guilty about later.

Your sub mind is running old safety patterns you’re barely aware of, and they quietly shape how you think, react, and show up… especially when life feels heavy.

And the moment you understand *why* you’re like this, things start to change.

Not because you “try harder,” but because you finally stop fighting yourself and give yourself permission to have some breathing space.

With love,
Karina 🤎
