Here you go….for those of you asking about my new Strength & Movement Program for women in midlife…..I’m excited to share this………

⭐️ Training for Midlife Women
Led by Amy Blyth ⭐️

This six-week strength and movement group is for women in midlife who want to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies again - now, and for decades ahead.

This isn’t about chasing a past version of yourself or pushing through pain.

It’s about building functional strength and healthy movement patterns that support real life: lifting, bending, balancing, walking, dancing, and moving with ease. The kind of strength that helps you feel steady, resilient, and confident through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

💚 It’s about creating the best version of you - strong, energised, empowered and grounded. 💚

We move away from “no pain, no gain”, pressure to perform, comparison and judgement. You’ll be guided in a small, supportive group (just six women) where you’ll develop strength that helps you feel steady, resilient, and confident through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. 

As we move through our 40s, 50s and 60s, the why behind exercise changes. It’s no longer just about how we look or how fast we go - it’s about the life we want to live.

Keeping our hearts healthy, our bones strong, our mental wellbeing resilient and our energy high, so we can stay independent and live fully for years to come.

So what do we really need in this season of life?

⭐️ Movement  - freedom, flow, heart health.
⭐️ Joy - play, laughter, lightness, connection.
⭐️ Strength -  bone health, balance, power.
⭐️ Optional cardio bursts to gently lift the heart rate.
⭐️ Followed by stillness to rest, reset, and ground.

Just one hour to strengthen your body, lift your mood, and invite your joy.

📅 Fridays from 27th February.
⏰ 9:30am.
📍 Renew Women’s Fitness & Wellbeing, Broadclyst, Exeter.
👭 Maximum of 6 women.
💷 £120 for all 6 sessions.

Amy’s passion is encouraging women to move themselves up their to-do lists, making mental and physical wellbeing a bigger priority. Getting that balance between movement and stillness!

Often working with women in midlife, as your Personal Trainer, Amy aims to keep you dancing until you’re 90! Training for a strong body to help you soar through later life.

Amy supports and empowers you to good wellbeing; with empathy, fun and authenticity!

The definition of rewild is ‘to return to a natural, untamed, instinctive state, to allow one to thrive by moving with one’s own rhythm’.

Ecologically, rewilding refers to habitats reintroducing lost species, native plants, organic processes, less human intervention. It can be seen as a reclamation of the land by nature. Intuitive, authentic, instinctive. A return to coexistence in harmony, and the freedom to flourish.

What if the same concept applied to us?

What if the stuckness, the overwhelm, the sense that something is missing, that disconnect many women feel in midlife - could be eased by rewilding ourselves?

Not to change who we are, but to notice where we’ve become out of sync with the wisdom of our own nature, our own cycles.

To rewild is
To listen to your body instead of ignoring it.
To rest when you’re tired rather than pushing through.
To embrace play without justification.
To move.
To nurture future you rather than depleting yourself.
To unshackle yourself from society’s perceptions of who you should be.
Releasing the stories told about midlife women. That we are past it. Less vibrant. Less relevant.
It is “releasing exhaustion as a status symbol and productivity as a measure of self-worth” as Brené Brown says.
Embracing authenticity, courage, and compassion for yourself.

To rewild is to soften back into yourself.

It is honouring your internal cycles. Tracking them. Learning from them. Embracing their wisdom. Allowing your energy to ebb and flow. Connecting. Being proud of you. Being free.

Like rewilded land, when we step back and allow our true self to flourish, something wonderful happens. Life returns. Vitality grows. The person you are here to be shines.

🏃‍♀️ Muddy Trainers - Women’s Trail Running Group 🏃‍♀️

💚 Thursday mornings at 08:30am starting Thursday 8th January. 💚

Running for a good time, not a fast time
with Hannah Bown, accredited running coach and owner of Always moving.

Women only trail running. Mud expected.
Good times guaranteed.

Join us for a weekly relaxed, social trail run through the surrounding countryside and forest - fresh air, trails, laughter and muddy trainers.

💜 What to expect:
• Trail running on mixed terrain.

• Mud, steep hills and uneven ground.

• A friendly, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

💚 What you’ll need:
• Trail trainers with good grip (mandatory).

• A drink.

• Appropriate clothing for all weather - layers recommended.

• A spare pair of clean trainers if we return to the gym for a cool-down.

A basic level of fitness is required - this group is for runners rather than hikers (new runners welcome).

Membership:
• Included within our Core Classes and Gym Membership.

• Also available Pay As You Go which can be purchased here for either £10 a session or a pack of 6 for just £57 🏃‍♀️

This year I have hosted my wellness retreats in alignment with the change of season. Each retreat has been different but equally restful and nourishing.

As we move towards the shortest day, the longest night and the Winter Solstice, I’d love to invite you to join me at the final retreat of this traditional year.

My Winter Solstice Retreat from Home, is time to rest, relax and reflect on the year that’s gone! Preparation for the festivities!

I absolutely love this message from . It’s a perfect reminder to every woman in midlife - especially those heading towards perimenopause - that movement is medicine! I also adore the idea of movement being a magic potion! I am all about the woo!

Movement is Medicine for everyone, all ages, all bodies, all genders!

But for us, the midlife woman movement becomes even more essential as we navigate the shifting hormones! I didn’t realise until recently just how much our bodies rely on oestrogen for strength, mood, energy, bone and heart health…..and a whole lot more! It’s amazing really!

As oestrogen levels lower we need to respond. We meet our midlife body where it is! And thats not where we were when we were 20, or 30!

We lift weights
We move
We jump (yes I now the knees aren’t keen..there’s alternatives!)
We exercise to nourish and strengthen
We find stillness
We make space for fun, play,

Movement becomes our medicine, our magic potion! It’s time to rewild!
