A magical reminder for the first day of the month. Blow a pinch of cinnamon through your front doorway and set your intention for the month ahead. In folk tradition, cinnamon is carried on the breath of the home to invite prosperity, warmth and protection. As you blow, say:

“As this cinnamon blows, good fortune flows.
Health, joy and abundance enter and stay,
All harm and heaviness drift away.”

Let the cinnamon rest where it falls for 24 hours, allowing the blessing to settle, then clear it away with gratitude. May your month begin with sweetness and steady abundance.

Fancy making your Mondays more Magical?

I’m gathering interest for a new season of small, welcoming Magical Monday workshops in Central Exeter — spaces for creativity, meditation, ritual and community. Offerings include Mindful Mondays (Wheel of the Year), Witch Club, Goddess of the Month, Tarot Talks, The Calm Collective, and a Create Your Own Oracle Deck workshop.

I’ve kept prices as accessible as possible, with low-income options available, while also honouring that this work is how I sustain my living. If something calls to you, please reach out to express interest — your response helps shape the programme and secure spaces.

I’m deeply grateful to ULA for believing in this work and continuing to fund spaces where reflection, connection, and growth can happen. And to everyone who comes along: thank you. Truly. These sessions nourish me just as much as they do participants. Walking alongside you through reflection, creativity, and honest conversation has been a gift.
