Today, colleagues across PHL Group came together to pause, reflect and remember.

From our head office in Segensworth, we held a Remembrance Day service, to teams across the country who joined via live stream, we stood united in honouring those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

With many veterans, reservists and service families among our PHL colleagues, this moment of reflection holds special meaning, especially as a proud holder of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award, recognising our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

Our thanks to Ross Brand, Sean Jenkins and Robbie Beech MBE for leading the service

After 10 incredible years working in police custody healthcare, we said a heartfelt thank you and farewell to Kirsten Pepperrell last week.

Kirsten has been a valued part of our PHL Custody Healthcare Services team in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. She made a real difference to those in her care and we now wish her every success and happiness in her next adventure!

Sausage Roll Showdown at Segensworth!

What started as a harmless chat about who makes the best sausage rolls quickly escalated into a full-blown PHL Bake Off today and let’s just say, things got serious!

Our guest judges, Gus Fichardt and Katie Stephens, took their roles with Great British Bake Off–level intensity (Paul Hollywood would be proud). But the real stars of the show were our talented bakers; Mo, Charmaine, Liza, and Emma, who rolled up (literally) their sleeves for a brilliant cause.

Liza claimed the crown with her winning bake, while Mo came in a very tasty second place.

All sausage rolls were sold to raise money for our corporate charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support, so a huge thank you to everyone who took part (and took a bite).

If you’re near Segensworth, hurry, the rolls are disappearing, you'll need to be quick to bag yourself one.

🎃 Happy Halloween from PHL Group! 👻

The team at East Barnwell Health Centre got into the spooky spirit with a pumpkin carving session and even created one featuring the PHL Group logo!

Their fantastic pumpkins have been bringing smiles to patients and providing a fun distraction for children visiting the surgery with some even going on a little pumpkin hunt around the building!

A big thank you to the East Barnwell team for spreading some seasonal cheer and creativity this Halloween!

PHL Group Expands Custody Healthcare Services with Durham Police Contract Win

We are delighted to announce that PHL Group has been awarded the custody healthcare contract for Durham Police. This contract will commence on 1st April, 2026 and joins our ever expanding custody healthcare contract.

The new contract will see PHL Group providing comprehensive healthcare support within the custody environment of Durham Police. Our commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care will be at the forefront of our efforts as we work to meet the needs of all individuals in custody.

Today, members of our Custody Healthcare team are attending the UK Association of Forensic Nurses and Paramedics (UKAFN) Conference.

This year’s theme “Where Two Worlds Collide: HCPs at the Crossroads of Law and Clinical Practice” shines a spotlight on the unique and vital role of healthcare professionals working within the justice system.
