To reach the next level we must let go of two things: the fear of the future and the past of the pain.

Release is not optional.

Every thought and feeling is a creator.

Do you fully understand the workings of your female body and how intimately they are connected to your physical health?

Your body experiences and hears every thought, feeling and sensation as a physiological reality.

By thinking of the taste and smell of chocolate you trigger many of the same reactions as when you actually eat a piece. Our bodies are not static structures. They are ever in motion and flow.

The amount of Sunlight shining on us in a day affects our physiology. The quality of sound we hear affects our physiology.
The quality of relationships we have with others affect our physiology.

We can use our inner guidance to make conscious choice and change for your life, your behaviour, your relationships and your health.

Emotional stress, undigested experiences and a restless mind can affect reproductive health through the Womb-Heart relationship. The intimate Head-Heart- Hara connection is what allows unprocessed experiences to be somaticised and if there is an emotional protective block these emotions, memories and energies can get held in the uterus, far away from the Heart. They almost stop communicating and this is where we find fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, painful periods, BV, the list goes on.

There are other mechanisms in place to protect the Heart but this connection is one of them and it is important to be aware of how this may be affecting your ability to relate to your fertility at this time, in particular your ability to conceive. If you are not loving and connected to your womb, how will an incoming soul be feeling?

How do you see your menstruation and current hormone health?

Negative, fear based and shut off painful thoughts/ feelings are being asked to be digested in your gut and your womb.

IBS and anxiety anyone?

Note to self today:

A woman who loves is powerful.

A woman who loves herself is unstoppable.

Be that woman.

Did you know that todays science estimates that 95 percent of our brains activity is unconscious, meaning that the majority of the decisions we make, the actions we take, our emotions and behaviours, depend on the 95 percent of brain activity that lies beyond conscious awareness!

A dear client sent the following quote to me today, it was too good not to share with you.

“The deepest wounds we all carry are locked in our subconscious, out of our awareness. Deep memories and subtle impressions, from unfinished experience, rooted in the past. The pain from those wounds comes to revisit, to block and paralyse us in the moment called now. We all know it comes without warning – Why am I feeling this way, I didn’t mean to do that, I don’t know what made me say that.”

Healing does not mean finding and treating every single inner scar which sends a message to haunt us. It means going even deeper, past those wounds, beyond those distant memories and recording of unfinished business, to the core of our self, to the heart of our spirit, where we find the light and warmth of our own core qualities of love and peace.

They are eternally present within us they are what we need to heal all our inner wounds.

That’s why this kind of deep healing is called spirituality and not therapy- the thought of the day.

I am so grateful for the women I meet on this path. The witnessing and learning is everything. Thank you ❤️

That old pattern will kick off the most when it is loosing its power. Keep going!

My area of specialism tends to be working with the afflicted mind. You may not see it as this. Yet. However, if you continue to experience similar uncomfortable emotional patterns and triggers there is a root cause that has not been addressed. I have a knack for identifying patterns and supporting you understand how they express themselves within the body from a mind-body perspective. As an example you may experience painful menstruation, painful s*xual experiences, emotional distress or mysterious illness.

I also see these conflicts (or patterns) as healing opportunities to help resolve and release any stuck emotional energy which over a prolonged period of time can start to manifest as physical symptoms.

I offers a space for women to safely explore the past, present and future self to find a point of balance to finally become one with themselves again.

Psychos*xual therapy understands trauma & s*xuality by going into the underworld of the feminine psyche. We do this largely through processing unconscious emotions and somatic practices to support the bodies memory to create a new map. If you have been feeling patterns emerging of late and feel you could benefit from support to shift this state then get in touch.

Depth dictates stability.

The depth of which you can go within to hear your inner truth will also dictate the stability you have to harness + hold yourself in your health, your hormones and your relationships.

Understanding the mind- body relationship may not be an instant fix, but by learning the language of the body, we develop a level of consciousness where we can discover what is being repressed or ignored in the psyche ( more specifically the hidden mind in this case) and how this is influencing our physical body, our relationships and our s*x life.

There is an intimate two-way communication going on between the body and mind that affects both the physical and our emotional health. I encourage you to get to know this part of yourself deeper.

It takes courage to reach this place. Healing really can happen when we are held in a safe way and where the body can unlearn the story it has been avoiding.

Obstruction vs opportunity.

As a S*x & Relationship therapist I work with women to recognise their own personal understanding and preference when it comes to s*xual connection, communication and pleasure.

Psychos*xual therapy works on the understanding that symptoms have roots in the subconscious mind and lived experiences that have been ignored, forgotten or too hard to hold. When the mind and body are in conflict it can create a split between the emotional and the physical body. Symptoms act as signals that something is not quite right.

I believe getting in touch with who you are and what is really going on beneath the surface, is where true change happens. At first this can be a daunting conversation to have, especially if you are used to bottling it up inside and keeping busy.

It was through my own challenges that I developed a special interest in s*xual wellbeing and the relationship with the body. Whether you’re navigating mysterious illness symptoms, intimacy issues, peri/ menopause, fertility challenges, sadness, loneliness, identity loss or something that feels harder to explain, I will offer a safe space for you to reconnect with yourself again.

Using traditional psychotherapy with an exploration of introspection, somatic movements and befriending the nervous system to understand what is going on physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually.

Autumn Equinox offers a pause to ponder on the things we are ready to let go of, what we are ready to drop to make space for something else. Just as the leaves fall from the trees, we learn from nature how to be.

Psyche-soma” refers to the inseparable unity of the mind (psyche) and the body (soma), highlighting the deep connection and mutual influence between one’s mental and physical states.

The idea that the body’s energy can be better understood through a felt sense and “spiritual” development is at the root of many ancient and holistic approaches to healing. Some call this energy medicine. Some call it somatic based therapy. There are many models out there now, with many great practitioners so why choose Psychos*xual therapy?

At the core, as humans we want to be able to love and connect with another human, and s*x is a fundamental part of that for many of us. However, what I continually see in my work are the same patterns. Pattens where by the overwhelming events trapped in the mind-body system can have a negative impact on a person’s entire outlook on life, their emotional regulation, and their ability to relate to others. It is believed that somatic and energy based techniques can help a person release these events more rapidly than they might with talking therapy alone.
