The residents in the main building enjoyed a wonderful sensory session and a special pet visit. The focus was on tactile and olfactory experiences. ๐
Residents rediscovered a variety of textures and scents, including spiky pineapples, hairy coconuts, soft lambโs wool, and cinnamon sticks. Star anise and cloves were instantly recognised, and we also sang songs related to the different fruits, which everyone joined in with.
There was lots of laughter, dancing and smiling throughout the session. The ladies had fun tucking flowers behind their ears, while the gents enjoyed feeding sweet treats to Parker the pooch. The tuck trolley also did its rounds, adding to the enjoyment of the afternoon. ๐
