The holiday is over and I am back at work - will get back to everyone who has left a message today. I have also spoken to BT and turns out the phone line has been down due to the rain and flooding. It is back up and running now. Thank you all for your patience while I was away.

Once we receive the vaccine some of us may experience some side effects.
These side effects are a sign our immune system is kicking in, as intended.
Things like a fever or tenderness at the injection site are normal and an indication that your body is doing exactly the thing it’s supposed to do. Getting ready to fight off COVID.
Don’t listen to fake news. Most vaccines take years to be manufactured and tested due to money and manpower This vaccine has had some of the worlds leading scientists working together around the clock to manufacture and mass test. It is safe and essential for us all to move forward to a safer world.

All of the Allied Health Professions do such a wonderful job and it’s been wonderful working with different professions especially throughout the pandemic as we come together and adapt to create a path through this challenging situation we find ourselves in. We will get there. Stay safe and well everyone!
Trying to spread some love and joy in the lead up to an abnormal Christmas, over the next few weeks we are going to be releasing our 'AHP Christmas Crackers': with an original drawing and a fun fact or joke for each of our 14 wonderful professions.
First up is Podiatry!...
Me: My father was a podiatrist
Lady: you're just like your dad
Me: yeah I followed in his footsteps

After years of working in private clinics our owner and lead podiatrist Carol decided it was time to open a clinic of her own. So in April 2015 a longtime dream became a reality. Carol strived to be able to provide a patient centred treatment within a cosy yet clinical environment, and so the clinic opened.
We offer a wide range of treatments that include: footwear and foot health advice, verrucas, corns, callus (hard skin), in-grown toenails, heel pain, wound management, diabetic foot care and advice, fungal nails and athletes foot. We also stock a range of products that can assist you to carry on looking after your feet once you’ve left the clinic.
On your first visit to the clinic we perform an initial assessment which allows us to assess your current foot health. This enables us to develop a care plan that suits you both medically and personally. We often advise you to bring along a list of medications you maybe taking as this helps us to better assess your needs.
Treatment prices:
£30 for a initial clinic visit - £25 for follow-up/subsequent
£35 for an initial home visit - £30 for a follow-up/subsequent
£20 verruca treatment
We look forward to helping you look after you feet and give them care and pampering they often need but don't receive. If you require any further information or have any enquires we are always happy to help. Send us a message or call our clinic and we will be there to assist you.
