It’s been almost 10 years that I have been a therapist and I love my job 🩶
After chats with some clients old and new, here are a few things you should know about coming for your appointment.
‘I forgot to shave my legs’ 🪒 it makes no difference to me if you haven’t shaved your legs
‘I have my big pants on today’ 🩲 come in your big pants or little pants or whatever is comfy for you
‘Did I snore, sorry’ 😴 Good it means your relaxed enough to zone out and switch off
‘My bellys making a racket’ 💥 Good your treatments working, you have gone into rest and digest mode instead of fight/flight
‘I am not sure whether to speak or be quiet’ 🗣️ well that’s entirely up to you, its your session, if you want to come in and have a rant or get something off your chest then I am here to listen or if you want to zone out and not say a word then that’s what to do
I have created a safe space for you where you can come in however you are and there is no judgement. You can laugh, you can cry, you can rant, you can be quiet. My only hope is you leave a little more relaxed, lighter and feeling ready to tackle the outside world.
