There is a Toxic Nutritional Belief: Fat in food makes me fat....
But we have the Essential Fatty Acids that are especially in olives, flaxseeds, and coconut. They are very beneficial for many body functions and contribute to a healthy body weight. Consuming them helps us to have satiety longer, they regulate weight hormones, they control cortisol, and therefore support healthy sleeping patterns and reduce stress, controlling cravings and emotional eating.
Of course, there are oils that contribute to inflammation and overweight: rapeseed oils, vegetable oils extracted in high temperatures. they are hazards for health and weight gain.... A healthy move is to swap these olives for olive, flax seed, avocado, h**p, coconut and make sure they are extracted in cold temperatures

Diets paradigms and diet Industry convinced us that appetite is a beast and an enemy we need to fight with willpower and restriction....
When dieting we neglect appetite, pretend pretend is not there. When we sign for counting calories, eating less and eating DIET food, When we short-change appetite, we neglect our very first survival function and also a very primal source of pleasure.
When we short-change appetite, we short-change our body, and the harm is huge: In doing this we are messing up our body physiology, and bigger than that, we are neglecting body wisdom, and bigger than that, we are probably missing an opportunity to grow.
Our eating challenges are a great life opportunity for us to explore beyond the body and open up for big discoveries, a chance to become aware of different aspects in our life that are not tangible and obvious....
So... Next time you want to neglect appetite or hunger, check honestly with your body how you can embrace appetite in a healthy and friendly way, in a supportive way. Appetite is a good friend that wants you to survive and access a source of pleasure: Food.
